FWIW, confidence is high over at Rivals (B&G) as well. So, its not just Loy. However, this isn't me defending his general level of douchebagery.

His father seems all in on ND and so I think that's where a lot of the confidence is stemming from. Plus, he has connections to ND with Cj Sanders and his GF.

Lol @ this...
no he wouldn't

I know you guys like to ride the Mercy guy but there is no possible way Graham comes in and is not the starting nickel at worst next year I think he's top 3 even if Wade comes too.

Haha

"You can fix this."

- Our coaches to current defensive recruits

No haha! Sales ammo by the clip.

It seems so right.

I disagree. I don't think he comes in and starts at any position in the secondary to open the season. If he commits to ND, I'm ready to drop a vbet on this vshit.

Oh I agree that it should be a useful pitch, I was just haha-ing at the general situation. Kids that commit are committing knowing that they're gonna be counted on to fix things; it's funny to see the staff immediately embrace that approach after two losses.

Why come at me Papi?

I'll take your hard earned vbucks. I'll put a million up to your 5M he's no worse than the nickel (like Coleman was last year) on opening day and 5M more straight up that he starts 6 games at nickel or above.

Bets off if Wade or other 4+ guys come too, not giving up any more odds.

Feeling crazy.

I put nothing short of blood, sweat, and tears into building that vbuck account. It's gotta be a straight bet, 5 mill/5 mill.

As far as what happens throughout the year, I won't touch that because of injuries, etc.

The secondary is only going to get better this year and it will be beacuse of the young guys. I just don't seem Graham (not an EE) coming in and taking any newly established DB starting job. I'm not saying he' not talented, it's just hard to do.

Wade isn't coming here and from the sounds of it, he couldn't if he wanted to.

Per a somewhere I forgot where I read it but they kind of chuckled at the fact that Zona is a darkhorse and they think they are no factor. If I find it I'll post it

I started to comment on this earlier. Most out west thought it was Zona on top. Coach Donte Williams is tearing LA up.

Remember when we thought we had a shot a Greg Johnson?

I think I said it in Khalil Tate's profile, SC/UCLA messed up letting Tate go to Arizona. He was the Tony Saprano of LA HS football when he was at Serra. Williams is using all those connections he made taking the low 3 star for San Jose St and turning it into gold for Rich Rod.

Wait... he's a secondary coach and the growing sentiment around here is Lyght can't coach... Does 2+2 still equal 4?

Personally, just me speaking as his dad, I’d be happy if he just stopped the recruiting process and committed to Notre Dame,” his father said. “But he wants to enjoy the process and I don’t blame him because you only get one chance.”

Recruiting Week In Review - Irish Sports Daily

I really liked this one too:

“If anybody comes to recruit my son and tells me that those schools are not the best schools for their kid, I would tell them that they’re lying and to get out of my house. In reality, for them it’s about football but for us it’s about the next twenty to thirty years after football.”

Kind of wish his dad had not told the other coaches what not to say!!

They're not going to tell him they'd rather send their son to Notre Dame or Stanford vs whatever school they're recruiting his son from. They'll just glaze over that question and focus more on the football (/ non-academic) aspect of the decision.

READING TOO MUCH INTO QUOTE COMMENT:

To me it sounds like he's already made up his mind that he will go to ND but wants the freebies being a football fan.
