Shaun Wade, I can see starting, or at the very least, seeing a lot of time as the #3 corner and Nickel/Dime slots. He'd be the highest ranked corner I can remember us getting. But they have a lot of defensive backs in front of them. Graham would also play, but I don't see him being a day 1 starter with Crawford, Watkins, Coleman, Pride and many others already on campus.

Of some significance here. He's pretty close with CJ Sanders and CJ's girlfriend. Considers her a big sister of sorts. They are always talkin up ND. Will be interestin to see these Cali Recruitments play out.

I got my eye on CJS's girl. Her brother's Koa Farmer from PSU.

MSU can struggle with defending spread offenses. But I think this will be much closer than you do. However, I'd love to be wrong here.

Side note, really interested to see how good McDowell, Williams, and Cooper can be on the DL. ND recruited all of them to various degrees

only thing that worries me about MSU is that to beat them you gotta complete one on one jump ball's versus their corners who will be in man to man all day. Alotta pressure on the QB-WR connections in this game, they gotta have it down

Scout: Thomas Graham set for Irish official

Four-star cornerback Thomas Graham visited Nebraska last weekend and in two weeks he’ll make a trip to South Bend to check out Notre Dame for a second time.

Notre Dame’s 50-47 double overtime loss at Texas showed just how much the Irish need to improve defensive recruiting.

Notre Dame allowed 517 yards of offense and 280 of that came from freshman quarterback Shane Buechele in the passing game.

The potential for early playing time no doubt will be pitched to four-star cornerback Thomas Graham when he makes his official visit to South Bend on Sept. 17.

Notre Dame has remained in close contact with the 5-foot-11, 165-pound four-star from Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.

“I talk to coach (Todd) Lyght like every two or three days and then coach (Brian) Kelly sends me a text message before all of my games” Graham said. “He just says good luck. It makes me feel good that he does it.”

Graham said he already has developed a strong relationship with Lyght, the Irish defensive backs coach.

“He's real good,” Graham said. “He can kind of relate to me because he already experienced the dream I have. He basically went through the stuff that I went through so he knows the work ethic and the pain to get there.”

Graham visited Nebraska last weekend and also has trips planned to Arizona and Oregon.

He is considering UCLA and Arizona State to fill his final official visit.

Those trips will play an important role in Graham’s final decision.

The 58th best player in the country doesn’t plan to identify a short list of favorites.

Instead, he’ll commit to the school of his choice when the time is right.

Through two games of his senior season, Graham has recorded six catches for 109 yards and has carried the ball twice for three yards. On defense, he has posted four tackles.

“I feel pretty good about (the season) so far,” he said. “I'm happy with my team. Last year, the secondary had to make a lot of tackles. This year our front seven is killing it so we're not wearing ourselves down as much as we did last year. We make tackles here and there but it's when we're supposed to make tackles.”

Per Tv UCLA vs ND battle. Distance may be a factor for him.

Wade, Graham or Ahmed - just need one. Pretty good shape with all three.

If you include Darnay Holmes, one of these guys would be silly not to come to ND. Someone walks into a starting position as a freshman. Wade and Holmes on the outside and Graham or Ahmed at Nickel. To to get tot he field like that at a Top 10 program... maybe impossible outside of SB next season.

IF they got 2... oh the joy.

His dad loved ND. He was on record saying that he wants his son to be Irish. Did something change?

Good school, good academics, family atmosphere. Produce skill position players and linemen to the NFL.

But, coaching does not seem to be good. Worried about coaching stability. Team is sloppy which is a major concern.

I'm just making this all up
