People on this site were saying he should move to safety. I'll take Richard Sherman the second....

Great play on the interception.
Yeah, I say let him play. There will be growing pains, but we'll be better off long term and that's what we have to think about now.
At one point we took Luke off the field and had Vaughn and Love at CB. I love it. No more entitled BS.
I'm hoping for more of this through out the rest of the season. Keep getting these younger guys some snaps as it will only help both them and the team in the years to come. 2017 is about to have a lot of guys with a lot of meaningful snaps under their belt.
Just quickly off the top of my head I believe the only ones leaving after this season is Jarron Jones, Rochelle, Luke, and Sebastian. That's total on the whole team, ones with meaningful snaps.
2017 could be scary good IF they can be coached up to their potential.

Onwualu, too, who I think has probably been our best player on defense, followed by Rochell.
Yes, we will be losing Jones, Rochelle, Luke, Sebastian, and Onwualu. On offense, we will be losing Folston and potentially Big Mike, Nelson, Kizer, and Zaire.
Sticking to just the defensive side of the ball, we will have A LOT of experience in the secondary (Love, Vaughn, Studstill, Tranquill, Elliot, Coleman, White, Crawford) with guys like Pride, Perry, and Morgan also having a year of experience and should be ready to contribute (especially Pride).
Then we have the front 7. I enjoy seeing Daelin Hayes and Julian Okwara getting their feet wet because they will be relied on heavily next season; even Jamir Jones has gotten some playing time this year.
The 2017 d-line should be Hayes-Tillery-Cage-Bonner; the linebackers should be Bilal-Morgan-Coney/Martini; and the secondary should be Crawford-Stdustill-Tranquill-Vaughn. Julian Love will probably be the defensive back that comes in on nickel defense.
I don't think Crawford will be ready to go next year.
I think you'll see us hire a 3-4 DC and play Jay Hayes, Cage, Kareem up front with Hayes, Morgan, Coney, Bilal/Okwara/Trumbetti as the linebackers. Then your secondary will be Love/Vaughn/Watkins with Studstill/Elliot as safeties.

One of ND's all-time best scoring defenses was based out of a 3-4, no? How quickly we forget. That 2012 defense was so damn good.
I really dislike the 3-4, so hopefully we don't have to go back to that.
Do you dislike Bama's 3-4? What about Aranda's 3-4? What about Derek Mason's 3-4 at Stanford that took a bunch of unathletic 2/3 star white guys and had them playing as the most dominant front 7 in football?
What about a hybrid 4-3 defense that uses 3-4 concepts to become a "5-2" like Venables?
I don't care what we run as long as it fits personnel, is coachable, and is productive. A lot of teams run a 3-4 specifically because there are so many teams running a 4-3 that it makes their recruiting MUCH easier. The hardest part is finding a nose guard that works.

Tillery got the goods to play 3-4 DE? If so, I'm down for it.
Kind of leaves a guy like Elijah Taylor out to dry, though. Don't like that so much.
