He's got time. In 3 seasons Claypool is more than halfway there, but he definitely needs to get his head out of his ass and soon before he gets the boot.I made a bet in 2017 that Claypool would have more yards, receptions, and TDs than Floyd in his NFL career. Each one that's right/wrong is worth $100.
I can't believe i'm going to lose this entire bet after the rookie season he had.
Louis Nix (RIP) was the same. He was a great CFB player, busted his ass to prep for the Combine and got paid but then had zero interest/desire in being a great NFL playerHe’s playing like he’s got his money and doesn’t much care,… hopefully I’m wrong but there’s other examples like this too in sports and I’m seeing the comparison
Not so sure about that. He’s going to be out of a job (at least one that doesn’t involve a runway) sooner than later if he doesn’t get his shit together. He's got time. FifyAt best, he will be out of the NFL after next year. Worse case, he's out after this week.
Jesus Christ....as a Bears fan can they just make the whole team and front office inactive.![]()
Bears WR Chase Claypool inactive against Broncos
Bears wide receiver Chase Claypool is inactive for Sunday's game against the Broncos. Chicago is also turning to rookie quarterback Tyson Bagent to serve as Justin Fields' backup.www.espn.com
How do you not just cut him at this point? He seems like a locker room nightmare
Should never have given up on TrubiskyJesus Christ....as a Bears fan can they just make the whole team and front office inactive.
I have similar feelings. He seemed to lose his humility about a year after leaving ND. His support of Book was inspiring and exposed his values to his team. Now? Not so much. Don't know what happened but I think his head got a little too big for his helmet.I've been rooting hard for Chase, he could've been an absolute monster in this league.
Having said that, this has all the makings of a story that doesn't end well.
Actually this is on the coach.

The vibe was immaturity was an issue until his money seasonKid seemed pretty selfless and humble at Notre Dame. That seemed to change once he joined the Steelers.
