at 6'5" i dont know if he needs to run sub 4.5
He doesn't. A 4.6ish at his length and skill set will make him effective at what he does at #3 or #4 WR.
But I think he'll run in the 4.5's

A lot of upside for ESB in the NFL (once he fully develops). I would foresee him going in mid-2nd to late-3rd rd.
I think this certainly contributed to his situation.
Softest receiver I can remember in an ND uniform with his talent level. I'm ready for the young guys. Good luck ESB, you're gonna need it.
The tone was probably wrong, but the sentiment holds true. Does it not? I agree we don't need to disparage our players, but if we're being honest ESB did play pretty soft. When is the last time you saw him layout for a ball or come down with a contested one? How many quarters, halves, wholes games did he disappear? I get that A LOT of that is on BW's shoulders, at least in terms of ESB's production. But anyone who was watching would agree that ESB left a TON of opportunity out there on the field. I don't want him to declare. I want him to stay and play to his potential. But it has become obvious that he's not able or willing to do that. To that I say, "Fare well, ESB." Wish him nothing but the best. Now a less "gifted" WR will take his spot on the depth chart and more than likely be more productive. What an ass. He played for us and he's moving on, it's probably in the best interest of both parties. No reason to disparage our players

Maybe money is just a bigger motivator for him. I wouldn't be surprised if he tore it up in the league. He's a huge talent.

Equanimeous St. Brown, WR, Notre Dame
Height: 6-4. Weight: 205.
Projected 40 Time: 4.50.
Projected Round (2018): 1-3.
Equanimeous St. Brown posted poor numbers in 2017 - 31 catches, 468 yards - but that was hardly his fault, thanks to horrible quarterback play. St. Brown requested for feedback from the NFL Draft Advisory committee, and they gave him positive feedback, and predictably so. St. Brown has gotten positive marks from scouts and teams for route-running, hands, size and speed. He has the potential to be a first-round pick, so he made a good decision by declaring.
Grade for declaring: A-
This surprised me. I must be missing something that Walter sees and knows.
And I thought all four ND players received a grade of return school?

EQ going pro and no one's talking about it?

Saw yesterday that Charlie Campbell on Walter Football had him as the #3 WR in the draft behind just Ridley and Sutton.
It would be a cold day in Calcutta before I could pick EQ over Christian Kirk or James Washington.
