Based on this year had plenty of drops and no great catches. He has alligator arms. Has not lived up to the hype. He can go join Devarious Daniels. I say 6th round. Not sure what his dads cut will be. Was glad to see Boykin outshine him in the bowl game. Stepherson getting to play again way more important than ESB. Coney and Tillery decisions to stay more important. Hopefully Elmo taking the money and running won’t hurt our chances at keeping them. Offer them team captains.

questionable decision, but wish him well. Lots of things to work on. Curious what his predraft grade was. Had to be "stay", right?

Makes you question the guidance these kids are getting. With parents the way they are now days in youth sports, makes perfect sense why these kids leave school well before they should for a pipe dream. It’s not the kids choice when they are young, why would it be any different now. If josh Adams goes....god have mercy on his soul. I wish him the best and hope he has a productive nfl career or wherever life takes him.

I mean Josh is a ticking time bomb injury wise and had a big year. Hard to see him having a better year in 2018.

Can't say the same for EQ

This may say more about the QB situation than anything else.

Don’t disagree with you at all. However when determining whether someOne is “ready” for the nfl, neither clearly are for a variety of reasons.

Josh is as ready as he’ll ever be. ESB has some developing yet to do as a WR, and could use a few pounds, too.

Honestly we will be fine without him. Not even mad. Go get paid son. Its not like BW could hit him amyway. Book never looked for him. Doubt I will miss Mack either.

Being as ready as he will ever be doesn’t mean he is ready to play in the nfl. His bird legs will get snapped in half quickly. Neither player translates to the nfl in my opinion. If you are going to leave school early, you better be the best player in your position group on your own team and be able to be productive. EQ was neither of those this season. Elite players make plays regardless of how much coverage they attract. Michael Floyd and Jeff samardzija dominated their opponents despite being bracketed and double covered. Granted both had way better passers throwing them the ball.

ADams should have sat out after Wake Forest. Last 4 games will keep him from getting drafted. Doubt his combine numbers will measure up. If he can get paid for a couple of years no hard feelings. He gave us his best football. ESB has more to give and has not Impressed. Best thing he has going for him is his game of thrones name. We’re having a couple bad days. Sure hope Kelly has some influence on Tillery and Coney.

ESB is a really good player... experts had him as a potential first rounder before this year. Not his fault he didn't have a QB who could get him the ball..

I think he will be a nice pro

Agree. Lucky for ESB they have coaches and weight rooms in the NFL. Will be nice getting paid to develop.

I think EQ would be a nice #2 WR in the NFL, but I wouldn't spend that high of a pick to get him. Good luck dude, I'm pulling for you

I think in order to have a pro career...esb is going to have to start fighting to win the ball in the air.

The NFL db's will eat him up if he goes into the Show with his current attitude. Guy is just not hungry enough for a NFL career.

Is it his fault he couldn't make any contested catches?

What is going to hurt his draft stock has nothing to do with his production... a lack of yards, TDs, etc... it'll have to do with his drops and inability to win 50/50 (or even 80/20) balls.

I think he'll do fine with a competent NFL QB. Can't see him going any earlier than the 4th-5th though. Some team will take a flier on him.

A lot of upside for ESB in the NFL (once he fully develops). I would foresee him going in mid-2nd to late-3rd rd.

Good luck to him, and I'll never fault a kid for chasing the money, but it's hard to see him making it in the NFL. There are a lot of other guys who look and run like EQ, and he doesn't play with nearly the passion as most of those people. He's not the person you want to throw the ball to if you need someone to make a tough catch.

I don't think he'll ever be a star or even a #2 but he is the kind of guy who if he stays healthy and plays in the right team, can have a nice career and be a solid #3. Those out routes he runs along the sidelines are a valuable skill. The kind of #3 WR Tom Brady hits 3 times in the final minute with no T/O's for a game winning field goal.

Reminds me a lot of Davaris Daniels. Lots of potential, but I don't see a prosperous NFL future with this early move.

I wish him well, but him not laying out for a couple of balls sticks bugs the crap out of me.

I agree, waaaaay too many nice WR that don't play in prime time for us to see (Like Antonio Brown). After watching him in South Bend, I'd be shocked if he has any type of decent NFL career. BUT, best of luck to him...I would have made the same decision, especially with BW playing the way he did/does.

Any clue what type of combine numbers he puts up? Sub 4.5 40 is hard for me to imagine. Wish him the best but seemed to me he needed more solid college production to merit getting drafted.

I wish him the best, but think this decision was not the best for him. He needs more work.
