4.45 40 for Sanders. Didn't Holmes run a 4.4 during spring ball?

He ran a 4.32 at the Opening prelims or the qualifier in LA. Ran multiple 4.3's. Won the 100 and 200 state championship in Tennessee in 10.76 and 21.88.

Also ran a 3.88 shuttle which was the best besides someone's 3.81 at the NFL combine.

He's like Breezy, he's faster than he plays.

Adding to the Kory Minor fun,. His lb class contained Jimmy Friday and Bobbie howard. Howard's td return against lsu still pumps me up

He also played along one of my favorite and must underrated ND LB of all time..Anthony Denman! Loved him.

Little Bobby Howard and his little legs chugging for the TD. He was best friends growing up with whom?

The G.O.A.T... who should have been catching TD's in South Bend from Allen Iverson.

When asked what his 40 time was, The Man With No Neck replied, "For-ever."

BTW, wasn't it Kevin Faulk that chased down Howard about midfield and grabbed him with a horsecollar. Then Bobby tossed his head, shrugged hisshoulders and shook Faulk off like shooing a fly.

Not surprised at all. Good luck wherever you go.

Good for him. I hope Other Kelly wants him and he can go back to LA or Vandy if the family is back in Tennessee.

This is only the beginning.

Congrats to him on being on track for getting a degree from Notre Dame. Hope he lands someplace he can make an impact.

Didn't quite understand why he never saw the field this year (aside from kick returns), and barely in the second half of last year. But he's a talented ballplayer. Should go someplace they can use him, and good on CJ for sticking it out and graduating.

I don't recall, but was Sanders an EE? If not...Damn that kid put work in the classroom to graduate early. He could have asked to redshirt in 2018 and then take his 5th year at another school.

I feel like he might still do that at whatever school he transfers to. It sounds like he is going to have to take classes during the summer, so he won't get to his new program until fall practices and that might not be enough time to break into the starting rotation.

Good luck to him wherever he goes, but man did I have high hopes for him at ND. What a bummer he never really became the player he seemed he could be as a recruit.

Is CJ still considered an actor? I know he had some child roles, could be a nice career for him waiting after football.

We might see CJ on the opposite sidelines next year. Considering Vandy, who we play in week 3.

Tough to beat a free bachelor's from Notre Dame and a free master's from Vanderbilt.

Damn I was hoping to see him get a grad degree from Vandy. But if he's got anything left in the tank, Chad Morris will get it out of him

...if he went to Arkansas.

Worse things in life than a Master's from SMU.

Why might he not have anything left in the tank? It's not like he's coming off double ACL surgery.

Are those numbers an indictment of our defense or a testament to his skill?

Awesome, good for CJ. Some people are just really blessed: athletic, able to act and very intelligent.

I hope he tears it up at SMU.

Checked up on CJ and I guess he was a starter for SMU for the first two games. Only caught one in the first game and injured his ankle in the second. Saw that he was ruled out for the third game against Michigan and I can't find anything about him or his injury since. He hasn't had any game action since the second game of the year.
