Good for DeShone and I wish him the best of luck. While I do not personally think he is ready, I don't blame him with the quality of this year's draft class. He is going to kill it with the measurables and the interviews. I truly hope he goes to the right situation and can learn first. It has been a long time since we have had a QB standout in the NFL.

Very good news here IMO. We need a spark in our offense. A new QB at the helm. A new identity. So excited to see what Wimbush has

Agreed. Time to move on. No more controversy on who should start at QB. Too bad we have lingering concerns everywhere else.

I will bet all my vBucks that Kizer missing C.J. Sanders wide open down the middle on the final drive against Virginia Tech will be a point of emphasis on Gruden's QB Camp show on ESPN...

Not sure he is a first rounder but IMO he has all the physical tools anyone could ever want. He should sit for one or two years and learn the pro game. IMO there is real long term value in Kizer.

I hear everyone talking about Mitch Trubiski...from my home town here in OH being their guy. I've learned to love the Browns since I moved here (yeah, I know) but I don't think I could stand another ND QB coming here and getting his assed kicked after Brady Quinn.

I love the other Browns fans (most of whom are also OSU fans) saying "no more ND QBs." Right, because unlike the ND QBs the non-ND QBs have worked out so brilliantly for the Browns.

Brady, like all Browns QBs of the last decade was put in an impossible situation there. Add to that the fact that somehow Derek Anderson had that career year, and Brady was destined for failure there. I'm not saying he was going to be a great NFL QB by any means, but he was severely hampered by getting stuck in that dumpster fire.

Brady had the misfortune of playing behind a number of poor OLs during his NFL tenure too. I agree that he wasn't a HOF bound talent, but he was at least a serviceable backup that managed to survive in the league for close to a decade. Just seemed like often when he would get his shot to start, he'd soon wind up injured on a blind hit or something.
