GITF, you nailed it.
If his heart is not here (and I don't think it is) then he shouldn't come here. Yea it sucks but he has to do what is best for him. We will be just fine with out him.
He has every right to take as long as he needs to make one of the most important decisions of his life ... the team and the school will be fine no matter what he decides, and obviously letting down the fans shouldn't enter into the decision-making process at all. The classy thing to do is to be clear with ND about where his interest level is right now so ND can plan accordingly (and I assume he is doing that), but that's the most you can fairly expect.
I think to a certain extend he is entitled to take the time to figure it out. Look if you want to change your mind 3,4,5,6 times thats fine, unforutnately in college football you can do that. I don't like the fact that if you are still that undecided, why give a team a verbal, why not be like most of these recruits and take the time to really think about your decision and stick with it. The excuse that these kids are 17,18,19 years old and don't know what they want is tiresome. To give a team a verbal commitment and then to reconsider lets that team down and the university and fan base. Now it's no ones right to demand you stick by your decision if you don't have to but make the decision and stand by it.
I don't want a player that isn't all in on ND, academically and athletically. If he chooses to go to florida, and he feels that is his best option, then I wish him well in school there, but I will not wish him well as a football player (Not that I want him to get hurt, that's not what I'm saying), what I'm saying is, I'm not going to be cheering for him or the Gators on Saturday, just because he was once verbally committed to ND.
Tunnel Vision seems to let on that Anzalone is solid but the staff will still recruit him as if he is not committed.
Just like Deontay Greenberry did, AMIRITE?
Anyone who fills out paperwork to EE at another school while committed to a different school is anything but solid.

Yeah, maybe solid isn't quite right, but Tunnel Vision is pretty optimistic that he'll ultimately be Irish. They made it sound like he definitely got caught up in the emotion and excitement of the visit, but after taking a couple days to get back to normal he's remembering why he wanted to be Irish in the first place. One 2013 commit even said that even though Anzalone told him not to worry, he was totally worried, but now, a couple days later, he doesn't think Alex will flip. So it's not as bad as we feared (i.e., he hasn't already flipped), but we do need to hope for a good visit next Saturday.
Who said this and is it available on a site?
I don't have access to that site. So I cant read it. I'm not going to ask you to explain it, because i'm not the kinda guy that is looking to use someone elses site's their paying for.....But it kinda shuts out some people that aren't members.
How about just naming the sources?

Geez, why so churlish? Socal specifically asked if the info was available on a site, and Panda provided the link. He was just trying to answer Socal's question.
He was quoted anonymously by the BGI guys. Don't know who it was. I'd like to say it was Heuerman since we know he is close with Anzalone and might have his finger on the pulse of this, but I'd be completely speculating.[/QUOTE]
There's a whole lot of that on this site.
Gunner's at his third commitment, isn't he?
As time expired.

I took the tunnel vision update as mainly positive, but obviously doesn't clinch it either way. And honestly that is exactly where I expected to be with Alex at this point months ago when he went to Friday night lights.
Edit: I do not understand why I couldn't post this before. I tried like 50 times and it kept saying server error (it was 2 paragraphs at one point). I kept editing it and finally I took out the words "put the issue to bed" and it let me post. Was that possibly what was blocking me?
Edit 2: apparently not. Weird.
