There is more that goes in a recruitment than potential position, current season, and future of a program.

As for Issac....dont think he wants to be in Manti's shadow anymore....coming to ND esp after what happened so far this season, that will not happen.

So you're saying there's a chance. Seriously, I don't get the shadow thing. Other than coming from the same place I don't think of them in the same light at all. To each his own I guess but I think this is in his head way to much.

Extremely slim for Isaac some think he's comings to hang with Toma and manti. He doesn't want to play in Manti shadow. Plus ND wouldn't take him with Alex still on board.

Alex hasn't tweeted since the FLA game. It must have given him something to think about, otherwise I assume he'd fire off a tweet debunking all of the Alex-to-FLA rumors. On the flip side, there isn't any report saying he's decomitted or flipped. I'm going to take it as he's uncommitted, but we're in a great position along with FLA and we have a BYU visit coming up.

So we're in great position with Alex, Muhammad(s), LJ Moore, Faulston, Iowa commit (CB that's slipping my mind) and Clemment. We want all of these guys and we don't even have enough room. We're going to finish will all 4-star talents, no matter who we take from here on out.

I personally refuse to be overly concerned here unless this meeting gets cancelled or some concrete news comes out. Just my opinion, but could we be reading into this a little too much right now? It's not like that's ever happened before or anything.

Per Florida 24 7. Reports he has begun sending in paperwork to enroll in January at Florida. Doesn't mean he will flip or maybe he is doing this as a back up plan. I am really not sure. I expect him to visit for the BYU game still and meet with admissions.

Thanks for the info man as usual.

To me this doesn't seem like good news, considering he shouldn't need a backup plan after being committed to ND for months.

I agree, though, that he'll probably still make his visit. I just imagine now its going to be more of the staff winning him over again. Kid is a flopper.

Other than that, everyone on here has covered every angle over and over. Thanks for being on top of it GB.

I don't want to spread a rumor because this isn't a rumor. But, I wonder if there is an academic issue.

since he is going to be an EE this is wise on his part IF he is contemplating a switch because this is going to be happening in the next couple of months...this is common practice just as Ishaq was listed w/ penn state, syracuse etc

I can't imagine that being an issue. If I recall he was taking a ton of AP classes and excels academically.

Yup...so that rules out ND since they only have the #1 undergrad business school in the country...shucks.

I agree with Panda...him doing the paperwork for FLA isn't anything scary. EE so if switch comes, he's set.

Yep and yep. We've seen what happens when your heart is somewhere else (Aaron Lynch). I just hope he decides soon so we can get to work on filling his spot. Hopefully there will be some info on where things stand in Tunnel Vision today.
