I'm so undecided on QB that I am just sitting back and watching it happen. It's kind of nice to step back a bit and just let it happen, as opposed to obsessing about it.

This. One of the guys will show they are the starting QB over the next few games.

2018 -- the year the Wimush legend blossomed! I think this team is going to be his next year regardless. Kizer goes pro, Zaire transfers with a degree, and Brandon goes off! Mark it.

Touche.

I'm on the Wimbush hype train anyway so it doesn't matter to me. I just hope Ian Book will be ready as the backup.

In today's world of college football it's the right thing to do. He'll be able to pick a starting job in the B1G, SEC or possibly a certain ACC school.

With his course of study and skill set, Syracuse and coach Babers would actaully be a great destination but I'm sure it will be more of a big name, blue blood.

I never have an issue with a guy leaving if he graduates or has a very high grade in the draft.

Over/Under on how many times NBC shows Malik's face on the sidelines?

I hope Malik stays....can't say I've ever rooted for a guy to succeed at Notre Dame this much before.

Suppose it depends on how far along Wimbush is.

This is how I used to feel until tonight's social media implosion by his dad. What an embarrassment.

Whatever the # is, I'll take the under. DK will have the Irish up so big that MZ will probably take over in the middle of the 3rd Q limiting his screen time w/o helmet.

Question is, will BW and or IB get a series before getting moth balled for the year???

Yep. Easiest prediction I've ever had to make.

I'm a Wimbush skeptic. I think he has a cannon and he has some wheels but I think anything will seem like a downgrade after Kizer. He's just so calm in the pocket as he goes through his reads.

Wimbush seemed a bit too frantic last year but perhaps those were just freshman jitters. I hope he's mentally taking all the reps because we'll need him ready for next season.

Links?

Didn't his dad have an account on here for a while or was that someone else?

Believe that was his uncle. Jojoblack I think it was. Anyway, anyone care to PM me any details on what his dad said?

So does he stay if Kizer declares? Probably only if BK guarantees him the job?

He'll leave at the semester unless DK gets injured and MZ was the starter for a late bowl / playoffs.

He couldn't wait for DK to announce and I don't think that matters anyways. I think he needs a fresh start for his last year. He has aspirations to play professionally, I'm sure he feels that will be best accomplished at another program where he can show what he's capable of for an entire season.
