QFE, this is one time I'd get behind one of the "#Free" movements. I'd be curious to know what JoJo has to say about Malik now.

I'd be curious to see what he has to say about the large percentage of posters on here who weren't always open to his opinion. Probably me included.
chances are they would still not be open to his opinion. He often didn't sound like he cared what happened to ND just about his son/nephew (was it ever confirmed what his relation was) which is understandable from his POV.
I am sure his tone will change along with IE members now that he can't bash other players in front of MZ.
Almost every article out there has a statement in it that malik has to improve his footwork.
Some of us sat the bench in high school, others, like Malik and myself, balled out and took the head cheerleader to Denny's the morning after prom...
Denny's ... ???
The morning after prom I ate in.

Off topic.
but, is all the construction on the stadium going to be over before kickoff?
Will not be done until July 2017. All of the fences put up to keep people out of the construction zone will be pushed up against the stadium walls; contraction will stop on the Thursday of every home game
10. Malik Zaire, Notre Dame. The guy whose ascendance helped send Golson to Tallahassee. Zaire was good in the Fighting Irish’s Music City Bowl upset of LSU, throwing for 96 yards and rushing for 96 – and most importantly in comparison to Golson, not turning the ball over. That was his first college start, and now Texas will be his second. Notre Dame has a lot of talent and experience to wrap around the sophomore lefty, but Brian Kelly always demands a lot of his quarterbacks. Is Zaire up to the challenge?
If Dayne looks really good running the ball by these numbers, it's because the numbers are incorrect. Check out cfbstats.com
Name Yr Pos G Att Yards Avg. TD Att/G Yards/G
Dayne Crist SO QB 4 5 16 3.20 0 1.25 4.00
Dayne Crist JR QB 9 52 74 1.42 4 5.78 8.22
Dayne Crist SR QB 4 5 -16 -3.20 0 1.25 -4.00
Bad format, I know, but Dayne averaged 3.2 yards in 2009 with Weis on 5 attempts, 1.42 yards under BK in 2010, and -3.2 yards a carry in his limited action in 2011. I don't know what Dayne did at Kansas, but I can't imagine the numbers were much better than here. At best he averaged 3.2 yards a carry, and that was in his Sophomore year on just 5 attempts. He never averaged 5.8 yards an attempt to my knowledge, it's likely that US Today goofed and looked at his Att/G maybe in 2010? That was the only year he was considered a true starter at ND since he was pulled pretty quick in 2011.
Zaire is still the only QB under BK that I've seen that can successfully read the edge on the option (Although the sample size is low) and make the correct decision consistently to keep or hand off. You can put Hendrix's numbers in here too, but a lot of his good numbers came from QB designed run plays. His 2011 numbers look good, but were bolstered by a busted play against Air Force that went for almost 80 yards, and his 2012 numbers came on just 8 attempts. BK ran Hendrix a bit more with the Read Option in 2013, but as a result he averaged only 1.6 yards a carry because he failed to make the proper reads (You can see it in the OU game, Arizona State, Air Force, and the abysmal showing against USC)

are the YPC for the qb or the offense.
Don't those number you posted include sacks though? Shouldn't sacks be removed to look at his running ability?
