This is what I was getting at in my probably confusing above post. So ND is out, as is Clemson, but Clemson is 'officially' out. Sucks.

Whats this Civil War you mention? I know of the War of Northern Aggression....at least that is what I was taught in school. I know of no warmongering just the decimation of states rights by an unruly tyrant.

I highly doubt the staff is hoping to redshirt Ewell. They want more competition on the line, if he can arrive in the summer and compete, they'll happily keep the RS off him.

We haven't seen how he plays against college competition, so how do you know about his pad level and pass rush moves?

I agree. If Ewell is better than the other back ups he should play. Ideally he is undeniably next level awesome next year. I'll kick myself in 2021 if the red shirt is blown.
