who the hell is Jerry Jones? Did Jerry Tillery and Jarron Jones have a kid??

Jerry Jones is taking time off from running the Cowboys to suit up for the Irish one last time. Said he doesn't feel a day over 60.

I'd be surprised if weather plays that big of a role. He's not coming until the Summer and may be done by early January.

He's definitely a 3T right? Which means he'd either bump Tillery to 1T or bump himself? Or is he explosive enough to play DE?

As exciting as it may be to get Pagano, it blows my mind how many scholarships and resources Notre Dame has thrown at the D-Line with such terrible results last year. This year they have 18 scholarship guys suiting up! No excuses not to develop a few of these guys into decent players that can get more than one or two sacks.

in fairness to the (old and new) staff, I think we can only have "development" expectations for Juniors and seniors (and maybe a highly rated sophs like hayes) especially at d line position.

I don't know if I expect that 2015 class of Tiassum, Treadway and Taylor to ever even be depth players. Tillary is the best of the bunch, and he was a converted offensive tackle and honestly is better suited for the offensive line. I'm sure they'r nice kids, but they're looking like the definition of body scholarships.

I think if Treadway stays healthy, he could contribute nicely in the two deep. The other two I agree

Yeah, I hope Kofi makes the most of his opportunities and exceeds expectations. Because looking at all the impact guys we aren't pursuing this cycle is making me really regret the staff taking him. But like I said, I'll root like hell for him to prove me wrong.

Per Loy's free article on twitter (sorry - do not have link), Pagano will be "Staying the weekend".

Doesn't specify exactly what day he'll leave, but to me this sounds like a Today - Sunday trip, which is good news. I'm glad it's not a 1-day trip.
