Yup I agree with this. Foot injuries are never good and don't seem to heal as quickly as originally stated. Plus the movement DBs need to make causes foot injuries to take a little more time it seems like. A lot of twisting and back pedaling.

Notre Dame CB Devin Butler faces battery of police, resisting charges - ABC News

Devin Butler of Notre Dame jailed on battery, resisting counts

Appears he has more issues than a foot injury. Stay classy fellas.

Police arrived on scene shortly after midnight. Butler became aggressive toward police, despite not being the unwanted person for whom the police were dispatched.

Butler began to fight with police and was arrested for the felony charge of battery on a law enforcement officer, and the misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest.

Butler is currently being held with no bond by the South Bend Police Department, and no injuries have currently been reported.

I'm sure Kelly was thrilled to be woken up in the middle of the night with this. Kids will be kids, but this is the sort of thing that drives coaches nuts and makes their blood boil.

I know the news is fresh but its interesting that he was not the "unwanted man" the police were called out for but he is the one they ended up leaving with.

This is awful only because I believe Devin Butler is a great young man. He always seemed so genuine in his interviews. WTF just happened. He would've been one of the 10 least likely on the roster for this kind of action.

It actually sounds like a separate incident. Butler is not mentioned in that tweet. 6 players arrested last night.

Butler was arrested at a bar across the street from campus. The other dip shits were arrested in US 31 and were taken to Fulton County Jail.

A few things:

1) Why the "no surprise" on Coney?
2) I'm going to withhold judgment until I know the facts.
3) While this certainly sucks, only one of these guys is a starter.

Why BK hasn't banned players from the Linebacker is beyond me. We have players get into trouble there on an annual basis. Hell, even us townies know that nothing good happens at the Linebacker. Place is a fucking shithole.
