Good news. Always like to see guys come back and get the ND degree. It appears the importance of the 40 year decision seems to get through. Just a little later for some.

Was looking at the AAF rosters.
Unless wiki is wrong/out of date Max is on the roster for Birmingham.
Some others are:
Greer Martini (Salt Lake)
Nyles Morgan (Arizona)
Tarean Folston (Atlanta)
John Montelus (San Diego)

Is this league getting discussed elsewhere?

Intriguing Notre Dame backstories on pro football's newest back road, the AAF
By Eric Hansen South Bend Tribune Jan 31, 2019

...

And one with quite a bit of Notre Dame flavor.

AAF CEO and co-founder Charlie Ebersol, whose eight-team league begins play next weekend (Feb. 9-10) with a 10-game regular season, is a 36-year-old ND grad. Co-founder and former NFL general manager Bill Polian is the father of Irish special teams coordinator/recruiting coordinator Brian Polian.

Former ND standout Justin Tuck is on the player engagement board of advisors.

Besides Redfield, there are seven former Irish players who made the final roster cuts earlier this week (from 75 to 52): running back Tarean Folston, linebackers Greer Martini and Nyles Morgan, punter Ben Turk, cornerback Cody Riggs, offensive guard John Montelus and long snapper Scott Daly.

Long snappers never get their due. Poor Scott Daly doesn't get to be bold...

Ok so this is quite random and only realized this when i watched this highlights video. I always track Parma's team as they always have 3/4 decent ex CFB Players on their roster and are always fun to watch.

Anyhow the WR wearing #1 on the opposition team (Guelfi - basically the football team of Florence) is former ND safety Max Redfield. He made a few plays including Moss'ing a guy on a fade
I did some research and found some article on his recent move to Italy.

Pretty neat to see him still balling

“My time at ND was filled with so many great experiences and more importantly people that I am still connected with. Unfortunately my head coach Brian Kelly didn’t want the best for me or my teammates so it was never a comfortable environment. It felt like I was consistently in survival mode. I also made some bad decisions which had a big impact on my career there and the perception of who I am.”

This goes with EVERYTHING i was told about him while at ND.....selfish, arrogant prick

Kind of looks like you made another bad decision, Max, by trying to blame your issues on your former coach LOL.

I know which side of the 'Great Locker Room Divide of 2016' Max fell on lol.

Was it the "perception"?... or was that just who he was as a young and dumb college kid?

I'm glad he's finding his way, but it's strange to see the continued lack of accountability when given the opportunity. He REALLY thinks BK was the root of all his problems.

It all makes sense now....Max carried a loaded gun because he was "constantly in survivor mode" GTFO

I don't root for this guy any longer. I hope he finds a moderately low paying job, poorly translating Chinese instructions manuals.

Has to be, top to bottom, the most disappointing ND "player" we've had in the Kelly Era, in everyway possible.

Busted just like Justin Brent. Didn't care enough about football or hard work.
Brent busted something alright.

Probably busted his STD test
Don't you know? They say porn stars are as clean as a nun because they have stringent testing.
Kinda like how a dog's mouth is cleaner than a human's, but you know that mutt is licking it's ass.
