Well FWIW, there was a second team all American DB from IUP this season....unfortunately it wasn't Max.

Not too many Div 2 players make the NFL and I am pretty sure the ones that do would at least be able to manage 2nd team all American.

Good for Max. What is with all the hate? He chose ND then he made mistakes. I'd love to see him grow up and have success. I wish he could've been first rounder at ND but it wasn't in the cards.

I wonder if he had stayed on the west coast if he would have fared better, worse, or remained the same. I imagine he could have gotten away with more on the west coast, but would he have had a better outcome? Got to think he didn't exactly make the most of his time on the college playing field, although he does have two degrees to fall back on, right?

Redfield enrolled in two philosophy courses at Cal State Fullerton with the understanding they will satisfy his remaining requirements to complete his Notre Dame degree. The Mandarin Chinese minor will come with it, but he will end up two courses short for the corresponding business economics honor.
