Sounds to me like Bama hit a home run.

Not so fast my friend. Every school has hit a home run with him. Alabama got into this later than we did. I just have a hard time believing he'll go there.

Just a little perspective.

did a quik look on rivals at this yrs 2013 class and last yrs 2012 for Bama...not loaded with bunch of 5* DT amd DL's at all.
Nicky Satan may actually had chance to play the early PT card here with EV.

His technique and/or his ability to improve his technique will be the same at any of the schools.

I think it matters more where he made the best connection. So far I can't see an advantage to any school, certainly his comments have been pretty upbeat for all of the schools.

Unless he tweets something between now and Wednesday, I think we're all guessing.

all i can say about this is raise your hand if you thought you'd be paying as close attention as we are to who this stud was going to sign with on February 6th?

definitely not me for sure, so we are in as good a position as we possibly could be in.

gonna try to stay as optimisitc as possible the last 3 days of the 2013 cycle b/c this class is phenomenal and i am stoked to have each of them!

The Right Stuff.

He played DE for Bama but he is now a 3-4 NG for the Bills.

Bills play a 4-3. Well, they have a new D coordinator, Mike pettine, previously of the Jets, and he ran a 3-4 there, but he has said that the D will have multiple fronts.

Dareus may be a NG, but Kyle Williams was the NG when they ran a 3-4 for Chan Gailey's first two years.

Couldn't agree more.

I have seen him going ND since his decommitment and nothing that has happened since to change my mind.

I am I too stupid to see the light? Perhaps though not in my in my eyes.

Recruiting is just so funny. We knew about this 'bama visit forever. His tweets are consistent with everything he has been tweeting during and after every other visit. Yet, people (myself included) are pessimistic by a visit that we knew would happen.

This is exactly why I don't care for recruiting and tend to post less on it. I much rather break down a matchup or a position battle. I feel like I actually have some knowledge to contribute in those areas. Recruiting while interesting and certainly important ends make people look foolish trying to predict what is on the minds of 18 year old kids.

I really have no idea. I figured he would have gone home yesterday.

It could be due to the flight schedules and getting the connections. Birmingham is a decent size city, bit I would guess the flights out on a Saturday might be difficult to get,

A couple of things here:

1. The reason he is late arriving back is because his flight was delayed a couple of hours.

2. A poster on Rivals SC who sounds absolutely legit has talked to EV's dad very recently. The dad swears that EV hasn't eliminated anyone and any rumors that he is a silent are completely false. He says EV is genuinely torn and has no leader yet. Says they'll sit down as a family and talk about all the schools and what they have to offer.

If that poster is accurate I take that as great news.
