Learned to just take it as it goes. Here's hoping EV loved something about ND that other schools can't touch. If not, then I hope for the best. I refuse to let myself cuss the sky again haha

To add a little perspective: only 50% of the 5-star recruits live up to the hype and become big stars. Go look at the ESPNU 150 from the past several years and you won't recognize the names of half the top 10 recruits from each year. A lot of those can't-miss, all-world, "the future of our program depends on getting them" kids were busts. No program will live or die over whether they get this guy or not. If you get him, be happy. If you don't get him, don't worry about it.

You are completely missing the point. HALF of those kids become STARS. That is why recruiting at a high level is critical.

I think Poggi is already out with Robinson committing. They would make room for EV but not Poggi.

But seriously, I think most people who are objective have seen this as a ND v UCLA race with Alabama as a massive wildcard, knowing the power of a visit to Tuscaloosa. Looks like their are 3 viable landing spots now, and I am hoping for the best.

Anyone think this kid has any qualms about not showing up and going to school on the west coast? That drops UCLA, imo. Robinson to Bama, how did the Alabama recruiters handle that noodle? If they didn't have the right thing to say, reality is going to set in fast. I am just spitballin' here.
