    For sure, man. Always really solid posting. Yeah, those early 90s were some fun years to be a kid and fan of Notre Dame football. I think we are part of a unique cohort of Irish supporters. Remember the old stadium? The feel of the place was pure magic. I remember one time Lou was walking outside the stadium just completely swamped by fans and reporters. I don’t even like Star Wars like that anymore, but the guy was Yoda incarnate. Anyway, peace and Go Irish!

    No problem! I understand being critical of Book's play, but the sky isn't falling quite yet, at least not like it was when it became clear that Wimbush couldn't hit simple checkdown plays.

    I had the glorious opportunity to attend the Notre Dame/USC game in 2015. Took a few friends (with the wife's blessing) and it was the greatest four days of my life (wife didn't appreciate that narrative). Been a fan since '72... sitting next to my father... there are good times and there are bad times but I will always be a fan of all things Irish. It transcends football... it's so much more! I appreciate the site and the posters. Love the optimism and understand the pessimism. Cheers!

    I hope you get to come back and skewer me for being wrong onpunishment...circumstances and media often move the needle though...previous smoking transgressions weren't off campus with a gun involved...those issues make me think these things aren't going to be treated the same. If someone was just there...ie did not smoke...I think they'll be fine. But outside that, IDK.
