Unfortunately, class is not necessarily currency in the SEC, nor with many of their fans. I have gone to the spring luncheon here in Baton Rouge the last 2 years, it is a Men's luncheon put on by a local family with law enforcement leaders, the mayor, and the head coaches from LSU and Southern. (Got to talk to Paul Marineri formerly of ND this year) Believe me the locals, while they have somewhat accepted what they have in Les Miles they do not respect him like they did some of their previous coaches. They think nothing of ribbing him about his sideline organization of a couple years ago or his ineptitude in the championship game and that is with him present and in the room. (See Bobby Hebert's post championship rant) Despite all the wins Miles realizes he is still an outsider and feels the need to pander to them. Sad.
