I'm thinking Dunn now solid to OSU caused this offer. I think he moves to RB. They will convince him once he gets on campus.

scUM is after him now and at different position. Apparently they are looking at him at.... WR?

I dont know why they recruit him as a receiver. Playing outside linebacker is his best position. But if they want to recruit at receiver then more power to them. I just want to tell you this, just about all of us on this board have better hands than him.

If they are going to recruit him at running back then they better get ready for alot of fumbles

meeting with vrabel soon...prolly show off his super bowl bling and say you should play linebacker for us, which btw was a major area of recruiting that the urban said he and the staff were going to focus on.

Urban Meyer and his new ND coaching staff are smart football folks. If Kelly wanted him, they want him.

Wonder what they told him they were recruiting him to play??

Thanks Ohio State. Glad we have his and Decker's scholly open... otherwise we'd be talking about passing on the Armsteads right now to get a needed CB (we'd only have ~2 total scholarships open with Perkins and Decker still in the class). Of course, that all changes if we whiff on the Armsteads... so let's pray that doesn't happen. Good luck to him at Ohio State.

He's still using the "Kelly didn't want him taking visits" excuse as the reason he decomitted.

He's still using the "Kelly didn't want him taking visits" excuse as the reason he decomitted.

This in spite of the fact that they have apparently allowed every other verbal to take visits. He also claims it wasn't a grade issue and uses Cal as evidence he has the grades--nevermind that Cal the academic institution has very different standards than Cal's football team, as evidenced by the most recent graduation data and APR.

I don't profess to know what the truth is in this matter. I do, however, know what he's saying doesn't add up.

he'll play linebacker and be good, maybe right away with their depth at linebacker.

I was very disappointed in losing " Boom."

I wish him luck, still.

Thinks we land Jaylon and is still saying he decommitted because BK wouldn't let him take visits. Sure buddy.

Inside Ohio State Football with David Perkins | Bleacher Report

...

Not necessarily.

Q. Have you talked to Jaylon Smith? Do you think he ends up a Buckeye?

A. I have talked to him a few times. I think he is interested in Ohio State, but I think he will go to either ND or another school. I think having Rod here is a minus because he does not want to be in the shadow of his big brother.

I talked to Boom after the OSU spring game. It was the picnic afterwards for family of the players. He was actually a cool kid. He was dressed in a suit and he was easy to talk to. I told him even though my cousin plays for OSU that I was an ND fan and he smiled. He had nothing but good things to say about Gehrig Dieter. He didn't talk bad about ND or anything. It was interesting to see how these kids travel by themselves to places and they fit right in. He is much taller than I though he was and he will be a beast at OSU. I wish he was Irish but I wish him nothing but the best.
