Yankee Stadium was a playground for us kids. I worked as a vendor at both Yankee Stadium and Polo Grounds 1953-55 and saw over three hundred Yankee and Giant ballgames and three World Series. Plus I worked Giant Football Games and the great Heavyweight Championship bouts. Yes and I knew all the Yankees and many lived in my neighborhood. I knew all the Giant ballplayers too. Got a ton of great stories but another time..

Marc Tyler said doc cleared him Tuesday. "I don’t know how it healed so fast. It feels good but I haven't been hit yet."

This is easily the biggest game of the season because it sets the tone for the rest of the season and because of the visitor list. If we win this game, we will be going into Stanford 9-2. If we win this game, the recruits at the game will be in awe over the atmosphere and commit on the spot. If we don't win, well I don't even want to talk about it, because I don't see us going into that situation. GO IRISH!

One player who I hated from USC: Stafon Johnson. He quits on his team and I never cared for his tone of voice.

Our favorite, Colin Cowherd: Dame has 8 seniors playing major roles on defense. Usc has 4 freshman playing key roles on offense. ND 33-24...right at the number

In the interview with Kiffin after Wednesday's practice the media asked Kiffin what he thought about Hendrix. They mentioned how he shared snaps in the Air Force game and if that affects the Trojan's game plan. Kiffin responded by saying it didn't affect anything because Hendrix isn't a true running QB...hope Hendrix sees that and makes them pay on Saturday.

Bout time they fix the d@mn helmets!

Good job, Kelly.

I'm dumbfounded by Kelly's and Swarbrick's marketing genius. Between the prime-time kick-off, the new helmets, the huge list of blue chip recruits, etc... Saturday night could be the greatest publicity coup in CFB history.

Hope the Irish come through. Last year ND barely won even though Barkley was out....

They need this "W"!

This should be a big win for us this year....I don't mean in terms of beating our Rivals, I mean just stand them up in a water puddle and straight stomp a mudhole in their *** type win. Kiffin is an absolute horrible coach as we all know, their run D is ranked good, however, I don't think they've played a good running team yet. The best team that they've played beat them, and I look for more of the same come Saturday night. I expect it to be a close game, but this, IMO should be a beat down.

I watched usc/cal and was not impressed with usc's offensive line at all. Barkley might have some very good wide outs, but it could be a long night if he has no time to throw to them. I hope we can get pressure on him early and often.

He's either full of sh!t or even more of a dumbas s than we thought.
