A silver lining to this uncertainty is that they can return all five starters next season. And the season after that.
And the season after that. Not a single starter has exhausted more than 1 year of eligibility right? Schrauth - 1 year. Craig - 1 year. The other three, 4 years of eligibility remain.

I'd bet the field that this lineup doesn't stay intact for the following 2 seasons. There are some talented guys hunting for a spot. Absher, Jagusah, Lambert and Black are the first 4 that come to mind.

Line has crept up to +3 on DK, +2.5 on FD.

Percentages do not look pretty:

Have to think Rudolph holding out on Alt due to youth and then realizing what Alt did when he finally played - has him looking at the younger OL differently. Also reminded that Jagusah was smoked in last year's bowl game at the beginning. Will be interesting.

Watched both pressers. Elko 1, Freeman 0, IMO. Freeman was justifying Landon's hire and did not seem to want to discuss O. Elko was smoking through the Q;s.

Elko can win the press conference that's fine, long as we win the game.

Does anyone else find it funny that the entire national media & every site keeps talking about ND’s OL, when A&M played a kid at RT all of spring, summer & fall, & now he is slated to start at RG instead? And two of the OL positions have an “or” next to them. So they don’t even have 5 definite starters figured out?
And that’s going against ND’s DL, which has performed better than A&M’s.
And ND is confident in 4 of the 5 spots & thinks the interior is a big strength.
Can A&M name one area of their OL that is a strength? They are confident in one player, Zuhn.

Keep your head on a swivel my man. SEC fans may be the worst when it comes to opposing fans. On the flip side, Notre Dame is way too nice. I wish they were at least louder & talked more trash minus the drunken harassment of women & children that we see at most other stadiums.
I can see that for the SEC in general but A&M is pretty friendly place. I’ve seen multiple other SEC fans on twitter praise Aggie hospitality. You almost have to be doing something wrong to not get offered free food and beer. Some longhorns might disagree but Y’all aren’t longhorns. Lol

Hope you’re right but I’m skeptical. I’ve had good experiences at Ole Miss & UT so it could happen. Alcohol provides lots of courage for folks.

I locked in ND +3 and the under. I don’t see A&M getting north of 21-24 points, and even if ND’s tackles self destruct it’s hard to see the floor being worse than ~17.
So the OL really isn’t worse than the OL from 2007?

Hey TexAg33/LoganIsmyname, know of any good talgating spots you can point me to? Some buddies and I are getting into town around 11ish Sat morning. We're staying at a hotel right off University Dr/Texas Ave so walking(ish) distance from Kyle Field.
A Bama buddy told be there may be a $30 or $40 public tailgating spot that anyone can get into?
Any info would be appreciated.
I personally don’t have any experience with that. I did read a little about it out of curiosity for myself a few days ago. It seems like if you’re looking to park your own car and tailgate anywhere remotely near the stadium, you have to reserve it for free and I think tomorrow is the last day to do that. You can do it online. Other people talking online makes it sound like you’ll have to pay for the parking pass regardless. There’s also an expensive for paid tailgating that includes everything being provided and setup for you. Tent, chairs, food, all that. Sorry I don’t have much more info than that.

Exactly what I was thinking. He just said that he wasn't sure the ND secondary was a major advantage over the Ag secondary. I think there's a good possibility that when you factor in Elko's defensive mind, his understanding of ND's QB strengths and weaknesses, and the possible advantage A&M might have in the pass rush and blitzes, the advantage in the secondary of ND may not be all that great as compared to how the A&M secondary might fare. In other words, there may be a lot of factors helping the A&M secondary (including the home field).

Remains to be seen- our secondary might suck, but maybe it wont.
Agreed
