IFND loses this bowl game (even without Alt/Fisher/Estime and a slew of WRs) after seeing all that Oregon State has lost (coaching staff and key players), then I'm going be lost for words for where this ND program is heading. Read on ....

Oregon State lost its head coach Jonathan Smith to Michigan State, along with five assistant coaches. Starting quarterback DJ Uiagalelei has entered the transfer portal. Oregon State backup quarterback Aidan Chiles also entered the portal, meaning that third-stringer Ben Gulbranson may end up starting the bowl game. Gulbranson has attempted just one pass and appeared in one game this season after being QB2 a year ago. Tackle Taliese Fuaga and receiver Anthony Gould have already opted out of the bowl game. Fuaga is projected as a first-round pick in a mock draft. Gould (44 catches, 718 yards, two TDs) is one of Oregon State’s top receivers. Leading rusher Damien Martinez (194 carries, 1,185 yards, nine TDs) is suspended for the game after an arrest on suspicion of DUI.

If i remember correctly, their 3rd string guy started like 8 or 9 games last year and had a 60%+ completion percentage. They aren't walking out a PWO. He's got way more experience than PB&J or Minchey.

Honestly, I'd rather give Angeli some reps and hopefully even see Minchey. Nothing against Sam, but if you aren't in a NY6 game or the playoffs than the only value I put in bowls at this point is reps for the younger guys.

This is where I'm at. Given the opponent and their issues, we should have no issue getting the 10th win and giving Angeli a big opportunity to show what he has, even with the transfers at wr/te.

My confidence does drop a little bit.

Don't forget Angeli's single pass against the worst defense on our schedule, Stanford.

Also, we relied on Estime as the engine that kept the offense going. I love our other RBs but they are unproven with this many touches. This just made the bowl game a lot more exciting.

A retooled offensive line. New starting RBs, different WRs, different TEs kind of, new starting QB(s).

This is going to be a completely different game than we've seen this year.

Totally agree. Only caveat is they should have to pay back 1/13th of their tuition, room/board, and NIL money. Your life your decision, but you shouldn't continue to reap the benefits of being a member of the Notre Dame football team when you get to chose that no longer is in your best interest.
