He also helped them get the first overall pick so Claypool led to DJ Moore.

I made a bet in 2017 that Claypool would have more yards, receptions, and TDs than Floyd in his NFL career. Each one that's right/wrong is worth $100.

I can't believe i'm going to lose this entire bet after the rookie season he had.

He's got time. In 3 seasons Claypool is more than halfway there, but he definitely needs to get his head out of his ass and soon before he gets the boot.

He’s playing like he’s got his money and doesn’t much care,… hopefully I’m wrong but there’s other examples like this in sports and I’m seeing the comparison

Louis Nix (RIP) was the same. He was a great CFB player, busted his ass to prep for the Combine and got paid but then had zero interest/desire in being a great NFL player

Not so sure about that. He’s going to be out of a job (at least one that doesn’t involve a runway) sooner than later if he doesn’t get his shit together.

What's really discouraging is that he was a hell of a blocker (really just more effort I guess) in college. He would run defenders over and block continuously downfield and was really physical about it. Before he finally broke out later in his career for ND at WR, he was consistently a gunner on punt teams and played other special team roles making multiple tackles. Now it gets way harder to block in the NFL but this has to be purely effort related which is all the more frustrating.

At best, he will be out of the NFL after next year. Worse case, he's out after this year.

Sorry, I Keep hearing that Justin Fields sucks and this is all his fault.

This Canuck who made the 40 year decision has total immunity from the vast majority of people who are following this team.

How do you not just cut him at this point? He seems like a locker room nightmare

I've been rooting hard for Chase, he could've been an absolute monster in this league.

Having said that, this has all the makings of a story that doesn't end well.

I have similar feelings. He seemed to lose his humility about a year after leaving ND. His support of Book was inspiring and exposed his values to his team. Now? Not so much. Don't know what happened but I think his head got a little too big for his helmet.

Hope he figures it out soon.

Cheers and Go Irish!!

Actually this is on the coach.

In reality, it's worse. If the team doesn't want you around, then it's a fait accompli that you are on borrowed time. Claypool's reputation is pretty bad right now, and he could be staring at the end of his career if he doesn't wake up.

Kid seemed pretty selfless and humble at Notre Dame. That seemed to change once he joined the Steelers.

Claypool probably thought it was ok to talk shit about the coaches because 1) the QB just got away with it, 2) the coaches actually suck ass

Colts could use a WR. Pierce is too inconsistent. I’d trade a 5th or 6th to see if Steichen can get through to him.
