That’s fair, but I have a hard time comparing a blue blood, perennial playoff participant/contender to…..Arkansas.

Venables is going to continue to be a disaster. The program is on a downtrend and about to enter a much tougher conference.

Lincoln Riley gets a Heisman QB every year. Lincoln Riley is no longer their coach.
Coach is the thing that has me thinking they fall more than conference,… Venables may be their Davie,… if he’s not though I’ll believe they’ll slot in nicely until they don’t.

Arkansas was that. Beating up on TCU, Baylor and Texas Tech. Then they joined the SEC.
No. They joined the SEC when I was ten,… and they were largely just another .500ish whatever program for the ~20 years before then too. They weren’t a blue blood national power,… at all.

That’s just not accurate. Arkansas was toe to toe with A&M and Texas for most of the history of the SWC.

I just checked,… they had a 62 percent winning percentage from 72 to 92,… and that’s even with a rather good four year run right at the very end. Maybe you’re trying to say something you’re not or it’s being lost in translation,… me: Arkansas was never some blue blood, yearly title contender. That’s my stance.

I don't think they'll ever reach the depths that Arky did due to their proximity to DFW, but OU is going to be a regular 8-5 to 10-3 team in the SEC.

Once they're in the SEC, Oklahoma will be another A&M. Huge expectations. 8-4 reality. Good luck to them.

This whole experience has been a lot.
Looking forward to next year. Hoping there is a new poster to trash our TE room.

It’ll be interesting. I think Venables is in over his head. It wouldn’t surprise me if that is looked back on as a terrible hire. And, I think it could be a rude awakening for them in the SEC. With that said, I do that Jackson Arnold can be that good to elevate a program beyond what they should be. We’ll have to see if they’re able to build an offense around him.

Josh Heupel is just a phone call away so I don’t think they are gonna be in any major decline over next decade

History was made. Bowen will be on the Mount Rushmore of awful recruiting stories. Should start naming toilets at ND stadium after some of these guys.

Wife: Where are you?

Me: Bathroom?

Wife Which one?

Me: I'm in the BK shitter of excellence

Wife: Where is that?

Me: Go past the Dante Moore pisser, take a left at the Bowen memorial biffys , down the long hallway of failed dreams.
Follow the smell

Wife: Story of my life, I'll be in the car

So - flips again to OU... good for the kid. Chasing 'kitty' will get you to the NFL or, a great start after your education at OU vs ND.

Your data literally says that the top earning Bachelor’s Degree programs at Notre Dame earn 50%-75% more (fixed for @Dizzyphil because he’s a douchebag) than those from OU.

Wait...so did he really reach back out to Freeman, and Freeman asked the '23 squad their thoughts and they said, "nah," so they sent him packing? That's what a few people are tweeting but I thought it was a joke at first. If so, good on the new guys!
