I agree. I think Nelson won't only be a bad ass but will also lift the play of his fellow lineman.

I know Luck has guaranteed he'll play game 1 but I'm not pessimistic how good he'll be...

You're spot on about Nelson. Young, hungry, and bad ass. I think he will end up being a QBs best friend and will push the others.

If Luck struggles this year with health, the Colts need to think about moving on, depending on the situation. I love Luck, but have always felt we were cursed since we took him, and booted Peyton.

I expect Luck to play and throw soft balls to the opponent.

You love Luck, I've always seen him as a loser...the best player who could never get over the hump...no heisman, no Pac 10 champ and certainly no Natty. An AFC Championship or two to get beat. He's a career second fiddle to someone else.

lol... set Stanford and PAC records. Best 20 game start of any QB ever drafted. set rookie records. led the league in TDs in his 3rd year. 3 healthy years and 3 pro bowls.

but sure, a loser lol...

Like PM, he's a great QB that has to make up for a team that's sub par in a lot of areas.

Imagine if Farley had Balis' workouts and Elko coaching him his last 2 years. Farley far exceeded my expectations

Being a Colts fan I was happy the Colts grabbed Farley. His opportunities have come because of injuries. He's been burned a few times, but he's come up big way more often than he's gotten burned. He's taking advantage of the opportunities.

It’s amazing how many people hated him to see where he’s at now. Good for him.

I was one of those guys who was hating after his junior year. I thought he was showing maxed out athleticism, boy was I wrong.

He's been a very solid pro player, I only wish we could have him back because he's a baller. I'm always happy to eat crow when a player works hard and proves me wrong.

I never hated Matthias' play, just thought that he was being ill-used and in a mediocre coaching situation. It used to really gripe me at how effing merciless some people here were about him when they couldn't compare in anyway with his athleticism, effort, or heart.

Blessings Warrior, and go kick some butt.

OT. Last year was my first year taking over a Fantasy Football IDP team. Took over a pretty terrible roster and had to rebuild through the draft. Picked up Mathias with a late late pick 40+ rd. Was definitely a great pick that late. We can keep 11 players and I really want to keep him as I think this coming year will be even better. But I’m not sure a lot of guys in the league know who he is and I could get him fairly late again. Difficult decision, partially impacted by him being a Golden Domer.

Both starting safeties for the Colts are starting camp on the injured list which will give Farley a leg up. Two years ago you could tell he was kind of lost, but was picking things up late in the year. Last year you could see him getting a little better every game. The Colts SS's have had a history of getting injured going back to Bob Sanders so as long as Farley stays healthy he may be hard to unseat.

I believe both the starting safeties on PUP are expected by end of August tho. I don't know what ur roster looks like Lucky but I'm not sure Mathias should be a keeper.

He's not a keeper, but it's difficult to drop him. Sentimental team favorite, and all.

Mathias looked good last night. First play from scrimmage, Flacco went deep. Looked like a home run, but Farley closed quickly and was able to go above the receiver and swipe the ball away. He's making it harder and harder to keep him out of a starters position.

Farley putting in work. I'm incredibly happy with how Farley's career has progressed.

From a soccer player to D1 player to safety/nickleback to NFL starter.

His instincts and understanding of the game are very good. The only thing hindering him is his speed. It's not bad, but could be better.
