'16 CAN WR/LB Chase Claypool (Notre Dame Signed NLI)

I only get to see his box score and highlights most weeks.
He seems to get targeted a lot and catches about half of them. Is he dropping some or is Big Ben off target a lot? (he was off target a lot the one game I saw)

he gets a lot of deep 50/50 stuff.
even though he's only 60ish % catch rate, he still has the highest yards/target on the team.

Yeah he had a deep ball hit him right in the face mask today. Even though he’s still scoring touchdowns, his overall production hints that he’s hitting the rookie wall IMO.

I think that mostly it's that Pittsburgh has been switching up who they primarily try to work the ball through each week. This week was a big Diontae Johnson game, Claypool was the primary offensive weapon against the Cowboys, last week against the Bengals it was a big JuJu game.

I think you are confusing where he is said to have kicked him....he def kicked him but not hard

I agree TMZ is garbage but he does kick the guy in the face right before he backs off and the guy goes to grab his leg. It took me a couple playthroughs to see it. He'll probably get a fine.

Oh me either. He seems like a champion. I was just going off of this and what the lads said on the garage podcast “don’t put a rookie on me”. They seemed to be respectfully talking trash about him. Maybe just white line fever type.

I think this is right, it's just how his competitiveness comes out. I had a few friends in college who knew Chase decently well and they all thought he was a great guy, always seemed really respectful in the brief interactions we had. Hope all is going well for him and this is just two competitive guys sparring.

As a fellow Canadian, I hope he becomes a star in the league. But, he needs to cut out some of his immaturity. Play the game and handle your business.

Even Steelers fans clown him b/c he’s become an embarrassment. He celebrates everything w/ zero awareness of how the game is going for his team. I let my ND bias select him for my fantasy team & he’s failed me more times than not…but worse for Steelers fans, he’s failed his team after an excellent rookie campaign.
