What does his high school ranking have to do with whether he earned the starting spot or not. You earn it on the field, not from Tom Loy.

The post above stated that the reason Josh Adams is not as well thought of is because he was a 3 star boarder line 4 star. And if it was not for his injury in high school he would have been a high 4 star. So i was just stating that Folston was a consensus 100 player in high school, proven 2 years of high level college football and he is not a scrub. Is that ok jerk?

You just answered why Adams is the most proven commodity. You look at last year, and only one back on the roster got a bulk of carries. And it was a record breaking season for a frosh.

If Folston is back to 100% what he was before injury I bet he starts or at least plays a bunch. But neither your or I (or probably even the coaches) know what he's going to look like taking live bullets in the fall after recovering from knee surgery.

And you just repeated what I said. If Folston is healthy (and that is everyone's expectation) he will be the starting RB against Texas. And by the way both Coach Denson and Coach Kelly have said Folston is ahead of schedule in rehab and is already practicing cuts. Expected to be 100% at start of fall camp.

Yeah... it's called agreeing with you...?

Cool so that's live game reps? Coming back from a knee injury is equal parts physical and mental. Some guys come back "100%" through rehab and don't play the same... happens all the time in college and the pros. Other guys do.

No way Folston starts over Adams? Adams is a thoroughbred and should get the majority of carries

Josh Adams reminds me of an old school back, I watched some Gale Sayers highlights and they have a really similar run style. Not a lot of shifty jukes, but hitting the hole hard, and always running upfield

Eric Dickerson would have been a better comparison.

He invented shifty. His open field cuts at full speed would be world class today. He was what this generation thought Reggie Bush was going to be.

Yup. I believe that's what Daniel Jeremiah said his comparison was, after the fact.

My guess is that we're gonna see more and more of this in the future as a backlash against the public crystal ball feature on 247. Kids don't want anyone to be able to know where they're going just by googling their names before the announcement.

My man likes his drama. Probably just throwing a late in count curveball down and away because everyone's been sitting dead red on his fastball.

But... knew it two weeks ago.

Man, just checked his twitter feed... if this is legit, T Black is done too because he's playing right along with it and once again, if legit... Black can kick rocks.

Either way, this is a bad look no matter what happens. Thank God I was only 17 for a year. It's the most toolishous 365 days of a man's life

I'm siding with this being another Kaindoh situation. Not a huge fan of it but it is what it is. Kids playing the game.

He's going to be posting from ISD's snapchat account all week while he's at The Opening. First two snaps he posted have him wearing ND gear.
