Congrats to Peyton Manning on having the worst season of any Super Bowl winner ever. Moves him back into the conversation of top-10 QBs of all time.

When asked why I was rooting for the Broncos tonight, I said "simply to see the hilarious, irrational, butthurt crap Patriots fans say afterwards." Thank you for not disappointing.

Just as I was gaining some respect for Cam Newton he goes and acts like a damn baby in his post game presser. Grow up Cam we know you lost and we understand it was tough but you got out played my man.

People will always want more from Cam for whatever reason.

From his rookie year to last he would have made a complete fool of himself at that presser. He got up and left before he did something stupid.

Another learning experience in the new qb model of the NFL.

So his license as being the new age QB gives him the right to act like he did at his post game presser?

I'm happy to admit to a little trolling here. Also don't think I said anything that is factually inaccurate, but I get nobody wants to hear about it right now.

I actually like Peyton a lot, what I don't like is the disparity in treatment he gets from the league and the media, which is obviously not his fault.

If I have to here about how people dont like Cam because "white people dont like to see a successful, confident black man" one more time I think my head is gonna explode. People celebrate, but no one excessively celebrates like Cam. He's so fucking over the top cocky. That doesnt even factor into the equation how he stole a laptop and took money in college.

I swear half of fucking Facebook and Twitter wasn't even Bronco or Panther fans after the game, it wasn't dumb ass NE fans bitching about whatever they could invent to bitch about... There's a very real reason why everyone else hates them, well besides just the cheating, and it was on full display tonight.

Yeah, that was tough to watch. You just wanted to smack him and tell him to toughen up and take the loss like a man. Dude's an immature, self-centered, showboating attention whore. They say you see a man's real character during tough times or after a loss. I guess we just did.

Congrats to Peyton and the Broncos. Obviously this team was carried by a very good defense, but people should give more credit to Manning. He made the throws he had to against 2 very good teams to get this done. Nothing earth shattering by his performance, but he is a hell of a player, he did his part, and I am happy for him to have the opportunity to go out on top. I will be thrilled if Brady gets 1 more shot to win his 5th and walk away in similar fashion.

Really disappointed in Cam. I had the contrarian opinion that he was a likable guy, and his antics the last 5 minutes of the game and afterwards ruined it for me.

Likable when everything is perfect in his world. He was an ego back in college, still is. He's taking a lot of heat this morning for getting out of the way on that fumble. That plays says volumes about him.

Having lived 80 miles from Knoxville since 1998, I've had to endure the cult like mentality when it comes to Manning. Watching everyone go from Colts fans to Broncos fans has been comical. I've rooted against Manning his whole career and he gave me a lot of joy and pain as a sport's fan. Congrats on his win last night and I hope he goes out on top. The guy is one of the all timers. Time to move my sports hate to Aaron Rogers.

On another note, I was surprised by the lack of Cam designed runs. I've not watched a ton of Carolina games this year but thought they would use it a little more to slow down the edge guys of the Broncos. Seemed like the difference was Carolina's inability to run up the middle at all. Just a dominant defensive performance.

Peyton riding his defense this season for wins and this championship is only payback for all the years in Indianapolis when he had to keep shitty defenses afloat.

Thanks Peyton and suck it haters!

I was one of those Colts fans who watched just as many Broncos games the last couple years. There is a reason why there is a cult like following of Manning. He's a class act.... What he did for Indy is nothing short of incredible. And he did it in a way that was likeable and admirable.

People, especially Pats fans forget this... Had Peyton had the Pats D all those years...

I was just starting to like the guy. Was always a hater but this last year started giving him a chance and trying to "understand" him. meh... last night he looked like the same @$$hat I thought he was in the first place.

I hope the kid grows up. So much talent. He should give Peyton a call.

And Manning fans ignore the fact that their is a salary cap and part of the reason the Pats had money for defense is that Brady consistently took less money. The Colts also spent more money on building an offense around Manning, making it possible for him to hold all of those passing records.

Either way, great player, great career.

Nobody forgets about the salary cap. Let's just say I'd take the Pats front office any day. The Colts draft last year sucked ballz. No OL, no D. There's a reason why Peyton won this year. Could have been like that in Indy had Irsay and the GM had half a brain. Not Peyton's fault...

PM went to the super bowl with four different coaches. That in itself is pretty remarkable.

Fun season - that Broncos defense was awesome to watch and they really turned it up in the playoffs.

Enjoy your ride off into the sunset PM. You have had a great career.

It was just a matter of time. He acted like a 5 year old last night. No to mention giving up on that fumble.

Bull shit! He got thrown around by the defense but couldn't take the heat from the media.

im not sure what getting thrown around by the defense has to do with anything i said or the way Cam handled the media other than its why the Bronco's won.

He really wasnt getting any "heat" from the media either. He was getting asked the same questions the rest of the guys on the panthers got.

And if anyone thinks he is the only guy that went up there answered the questions poorly is mistaken.

I am not a fan of the panthers, cam, etc. but ive listened to MULTIPLE ex-pros and not one of them has a problem with how he handled this presser other than getting up A LITTLE early (only required 3 minutes i believe).

Like I mentioned in my OP. People will always want more from Cam. ALWAYS. His haters (and they are haters in the purest) will never be happy.

But anyone who has watched him the last couple years knows he has come a long way in his maturity. Does he have more to work on, hell yeah.

He just lost a big game he should have won (for the first time in his professional career) and he was at the biggest high of his life going into it. That's one helluva a roller coaster.

I would have questioned him if he wasnt pissed, to be honest.

Compare Blair Walsh and how he handled the post game interviews to Cam's. It's a joke.

People aren't "afraid" of Cam b/c he is black. People don't appreciate it when he acts like narcissistic prick when things go well but the moment the tables turn, he runs away. He acted this way at Florida, during he re-recruitment at Auburn, while playing at Auburn and now this year. Nothing has changed and it never will with this guy. Here's hoping this was his Dan Marino moment.

I was thinking the same thing. I was just starting to think that everyone was crazy, and that Cam is just having fun and what not. Shame on me. He has to do better. I completely get the dissappointmoint he must be feeling, but that is unacceptable for the team leader. It is easy to show class when you win, but apparently for some, it is impossible when they come up short. Again, do better Cam, you will be back.

Peyton could teach him a thing or two: a) when you lose in the playoffs, don't avoid the media - just blame your offensive line; b) have your HGH sent to your wife.

so why do people care about it so much?

Backing away from that loose ball at the end might haunt him for the rest of his career. Just reminded me of the kid who takes his ball and goes home when things don't go his way.

That was one of the oddest things I have ever seen in any sport. People will never let him forget that.
