I don't get it. Multiple, reliable sources have reported that it is just not a matter of test scores at Stanford for DRob. Everyone from the farm end says it ain't happening.

Why this belief he is holding up for Stanford?

It is much more likely he is trying to keep everyone off his back until signing day. I remember being a customer, if they wanted you they would work their asses off if they had a chance, but it was unbelievable how little they would 'bother' you, at the same time.

I don't disagree that Stanford is unlikely, but it seems clear that if Stanford offered he would be going to Stanford. I don't pretend to have any inside info, but just going by his own previous statements. Why take the tests again if he knows they are good enough to secure admission to all his other choices if he was not holding out hope for Stanford? Someone has convinced him there is still hope there, it seems. I could be wrong but that seems Like ND is the most likely of his backup plans.

If he does sign somewhere on Wednesday it will be ND. It's honestly the only logical outcome. Any other school would be so weird. I don't usually say that about any commits as I expect the worst but this one would truly shock me.

Judging by information from several people that are usually connected, I think Robertson is locked up for the good guys, and the rest is just noise.

But that's just me reading between lines that I may very well be seeing incorrectly.

Academic standing aside, this recruitment oddly reminds me of the Isaiah McKenzie saga. Granted, most of that will be determined by who he actually winds up signing with, but still. Something obviously off.

If he signs with ND, we are gunna have to thank Fuller for this one. Obviously has had a huge impact and a good selling point for the coaches.

So much information floating around this recruitment. The mother and brother seem to still be on different pages. Depending on what board you're on, you get different information. Most of that seems to be by design.

I hope this kid ends up with the god guys because he's a game changer. Either way, great job by the staff making sure they weren't out worked.

if Ga TEch was smart they haven't been selling him on WR as much as maybe a wing back in their triple. I could see that "possibly" be appealing with the chance to play early and get the ball a little more often than he would at WR.
