On the bright side we won't have to see Redfield chasing after the guy streaking down the field on the trick play that he bit on.

I saw on 247 that the players requested no namesob the jersey's can any confirm this? And is this the team building a stronger bond?

Matt Fortuna is such a tool. Butler and Redfield being out gives us ZERO depth... literally ZERO... for the entire secondary. We have 3 CBs and 2 Safeties unless you count Barratti.

So any injury (or targeting) back there and we all of a sudden can't even line up healthy enough healthy bodies to cover.

Its true. The team wants to be known as Team 127, not by the names on the back of their jersey. The seniors came up with the idea

Seriously though... does this leave us with two healthy corners and three healthy safeties?

Luke, Coleman, Farley, Barratti, and Shumate?

Watkins as well.

Pretty much Farley and Shumate at Safety.

This season might actually have been worse on the injury front than 2014.

Close the book on Max. Guy used HS football to leverage a degree like no other. There are some guys in the nfl that hate the game of football. They are just that gifted physically.

If we get into a emergency depth situation...anyone want to bet we see Jaylon play Safety and move Coney in???

Things to do on Tuesday:

Call Damar Hamlin and apologize.

That is all.

Torii hunter might not be in on offense this game. Will be on d for most of the game is my guess.

If I'm Ohio State, I'm lining up in 4-wide all day. Just keep running until ND's tired.

Well boys, if you wanted to see Kelly run an offense designed to keep the defense off the field you're about to get your wish.

Wow no Butler or Max...this seriously sucks.

Think the offense has to play ball control like they did in last years bowl game against LSU.

On Saturday my buddy sent me a photo of a dude who appeared to be Max playing pickup hoops in Laguna Beach. We thought it was really weird that he would be risking injury like that less than a week before a bowl game, even assuming that he wasn't already supposed to be with the team. Now I wonder if he knew he would be suspended?
Pic or it didn't happen

No need to worry boys, our D lineman have spent (and will spend) plenty of time dropping in to coverage. We'll be fine.

Not saying Fortuna isn't a tool from time to time, but I think it was a jab at the online bro's of the world that salivate over the athleticism of these guys, but they fail to translate to success on the field:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/bobnd80">@bobnd80</a> Nada. I'm just under the impression from Twitter that all 3 are God's gift to the gridiron & the coaches are idiots for missing it.</p>— Matt Fortuna (@Matt_Fortuna) <a href="https://twitter.com/Matt_Fortuna/status/681923789119094785">December 29, 2015</a></blockquote>

That said, I'm not even surprised anymore when we lose another player to injury/suspension. Injuries will happen, although I've never seen a program get hit as hard as us for the last two years. Hell, even 2013 was bad. Suspensions though, that's on Redfield and whatever he did he was stupid for blowing an opportunity like this.
