I think next week's show will give us a better idea of how each week will progress. The first show covered 5 weeks of fall camp including the week at Culver plus the first game. Next show will cover just a week so there should be more exposure for other coaches and players...at least I hope there is moving forward.

My wife just texted me, "The music is too loud on this ND show. It's hard to hear the voices." That's right fellas, my wife is watching my DVRed "Season with Notre Dame Football" without me. That's a good woman, right there.

She's right too lol. I had my volume turned waaaaay up just to hear the voices, and the music started to get obnoxious and still played over them.

From what I have read about knee braces, it's that they will significantly help prevent minor ACL and especially MCL injuries. However, they do not necessarily help prevent major knee injuries such as a a blow we see in that clip. Unfortunately there hasn't been enough conclusive research done in the field.

when the cleat is firmly planted in the ground and there is then pressure on the lower leg, something has to give. The brace will hopefully apply pressure across parts of the leg in the hope of moving the entire leg, but if the cleat/foot in firmly planted and pressure is applied, somethings gotta give and the weakest point fails (knee).
