Wouldn't you say it's reasonable people can look at decades of failed policies in NY and CA and reach a similar conclusion?

Can you explain what the failed policies are in NY?

Also California has had plenty of Republican Governors, though the legislature has been controlled by Democrats. Also oddly enough Gov. Brown's policies have led to a credit upgrade for California. There is still a lot of work to do to finish fixing their issues but he has done a fair amount in a short period of time.

You really like him up till then?

You loved his ideas about..... what now?

That was my first impression and it was bad enough that I really didn't care what his ideas were since his ability to command respect on a national stage is non-existent, IMO.

1. lol at California's republican governors excuse. That state has been controlled by leftists for decades.

2. California still has more unfunded liabilities than any other state in the union.

On to NY:

1. Ranks 3rd in the country in amount of debt

2. Economic policies are motivating businesses and people to move out of state (I've discussed this several times on here)

3. Top 10 in states with most unfunded liabilities

4. For the social justice crowd, Manhattan leads the country in income inequality.

IDK much about the rest of the country - but I've lived in Kansas my whole life. This is by far the worst I remember. The wife and I are actually considering moving across the boarder into Missouri - and I hate Missouri.

I'm just saying...the KS/MO rivalry goes back to slavery. No coincidence that the best brewery in Kansas is the Free State Brewery. :)

*Note: I do very much like Kansas City.

Hey, if you don't like America, then you can geettttttt outttttttt. And take your War of Northern Aggression with you.

And KC is hardly MO. That's like saying "I like Chicago, so therefore I like Illinois."

Choosing between Kansas and Mis(souri)ery...

shaping up to be what no one wanted...Awesome...

Am I reading that correctly? That Clinton has a 40+ point lead on the rest of the democratic field in pretty much every swing state?

So... she's running practically unopposed then...

I have always been an ardant supporter of ALWAYS voting. "Don't complain if you didn't vote" and whatnot... If it is a Clinton/Bush race, then I honestly don't even care who wins. I wont waste my time even thinking about it.

Yeah I'd vote for Hillary in that case. They'll both be equally awful but I'd rather see the country run into the ground by statism and have people see it as such rather than by statism that the media labels "conservatism," further perverting the meaning of the word.

Sanders/Paul 2016! Haha.

If it's Clinton/Bush I'll vote third party and try to organize for others to do the same so we can break the two-party system. Didn't work in 2012 but I prefer that to choosing the lesser of two evils.

I would vote for that ticket, providing Sanders' name remained first.

I would vote for that either way. I like Sanders on many issues and Rand on many issues. It would be nice if they could balance each other out. There's two guys I would trust in a room debating and conceding to come up with the best plan for America.

Hopefully the Libertarian Party wises up and nominates Rand Paul. He polls better than any other Republican candidate against Mrs. Clinton (with the exception of state-specific candidates like Kasich in Ohio or Bush/Rubio in Florida). I honestly think a Rand Paul third party run could be a threat to a Bush-Clinton election. He wouldn't be as successful if the Republicans nominated a conservative candidate, but his populism could draw loads of people away from two of the biggest establishment candidates we've ever seen.

They are the two that I think actually believe in what they are saying, not just trying to score points.

He can make a run but odds are he loses and gift wraps the election for Hillary. That's a huge risk that I don't believe he'll take.

Not sure if it's been discussed before but who would be Rand's VP? He has to take someone that can deliver a swing state, right?

I heard in passing that Clinton was beating Rubio currently in Florida, can anyone confirm?
