"Notre dame is getting a guy with a quick first step," Okwara said to Bartow. "I get off the ball quick and I'm great with my hands. They are getting a pass rusher."
Haha, the Michigan Rivals writer Tim Sullivan put together an article on Julian with the general premise being he's deciding for ND this evening but has his quotes about other schools. However, at the end he writes "The Wolverines can remain hopeful, even if U-M isn't Okwara's choice this evening."

Gotta love that.
Oh, and can we get him added to the commitment list on the main page?
Gotta love the family connection. Too bad he won't get to play with his brother.
There is a ton to like about Julian Okwara. Earlier in the process, it was thought that the Charlotte (N.C.) Ardrey Kell standout was going to play linebacker at the next level and, based on his film from his junior season, Okwara was rated in the Rivals250. Now that everyone knows he will play defensive end at Notre Dame, his ranking will need to be adjusted. Okwara is on the smaller side for a defensive end (6-4, 220) and, while he is very athletic and a great pass rusher, he will need to add a lot of strength and mass before he could even see time as a situational pass-rusher in South Bend. - See more at:
