I think there was a brief mention of the bloodlines and his Uncle Bruce. I did not see it live. I watched the clip secondhand when it was posted to the Cardinal's website.

I don't think it will get a ton of publicity because they are related through marriage. Troy's mother and Bruce's wife are sisters, so Troy doesn't actually have any of the legendary "Matthews" blood in him.

Seriously? I had always thought that Troy's mom was Bruce and Clay's sister. Good to know.

If Troy can stay healthy, he and Gronk could be a nightmare pairing. You don't often see two 6'6"+ TEs on the field at the same time with the ability to run quality routes.
