Would be a tough, tough loss. Losing our starting MLB and corner heading out to play ASU on the road? Not good.

Rumored to have sustained a stress fracture in his foot. If true, likely out until at least the USC game, and Butler to start in his absence.

I'm still feeling good about the game. ASU doesn't have nearly the diversity of receiving threats that I expected them to pre-season, and Butler has looked pretty good in his limited playing time. May not even matter if we can pressure Kelly like I'm expecting.

Relying on his Body Blow article Feldman picks ASU to win 31-24.

Feldman stresses that the ND defense has injuries but his prediction actually has the IRISH Offense struggling to score only 24 points while the defense allows the same 30 or so points as the past 3 games.

If Feldman's assessment of a weak defense is correct this game's score should exceed the FSU game and be more like the UNC score. I don't see Golson and Folston combining for only a 24 point attack.

Feldman: The Irish lost a key cog on their defense when linebacker Joe Schmidt went down for the rest of the season with an injury. His ability to be a stabilizer for the Irish D will be missed. Another reason why I'm going with the Sun Devils: ND is 2-5 the week after facing Navy, which has a tendency to leave an opponent banged up. ASU 31, Notre Dame 24.

Every Duck Radio guy around here is already marking this as an ASU blowout.

Hope EG is ready to wheel-it away from the ASU rush. Have a feeling they will pin their ears back even more than their normal 50+% extra man blitz calls. Hope our running game is ready to rumble.

I think the Irish come out early put a TD and a FG on the board before ASU finally gets a little rhythm. The key hear will be halftime adjustments by both teams. Irish by 4-7 points.
