Loved Ev's poise, class, and demeanor in the post game presser. Regardless of what he wins during his career at Notre Dame (and I believe he will win a lot of awards) the person that he is becoming is why you go to Notre Dame and not some other schools I won't mention by name.

Agreed. That post game presser made me really proud and really pissed at the same time. Proud for the young man EG seems to be becoming, and pissed that the refs gave the game to a far less humble, far less eloquent, far less upstanding young man. I hope everett continues to get better and better. I think his head is in the right place and I feel like the sky is the limit for him.

Yeah, that final drive was his Heisman moment. Only to be taken away by a bull**** flag. Feel for the kid and the team. Very proud of this team.

He was robbed! That really wasn't an INT and just adds fuel to the hypocrisy!

Why don't they just say George Whitfield. Who else could have coached them both.

Best athlete on the field and what he's done to turn his life/football career around has been spectacular. He is a man.

So, they see him as better than Manziel already........let's hope his draft grade doesn't come back at mid to late 1st round then. If it does, he'll have a serious decision to make.

I think Golson has improved a lot this year but I do not think he is NFL ready. I still think our offense is watered down a lot and Kelly could open up a lot more. I think this year he goes mid 2nd round but next year could be top 10.

Gosh this list would be extensive.

Golson is the first player in ND history to both pass for 3 TDs and rush for 3 TDs in a game.

Tied Jarious Jackson with 34 TD passes and 6th on the ND Career List.

Had 3 TD passes in a game for the 6th time.

Threw for 300 yds for the 4th time in last 5 games.

Has thown at least 2 passes in every game this season.

Has 156 Points Responsible For, 6th on ND's Career List for a season. 19.5 points responsible for for game is better than Brady Quinn's Record of 18.0.

Bovada's Heisman odds currently rank Golson 3rd, behind only Mariota (1st) and Prescott (2nd).

The RB from Wisconsin will get plenty of consideration. Surprised he isn't listed ahead of EG. Goes to show the value of the QB position.

Great to have Everett piling up those magical statistics [and wins], but it's really hard for me to see Mariota not winning it.

This friggin' guy hasn't done a damn thing to date to correct his ball security issues. If Kelly tells you otherwise, it's just lip service. Big arm...Yes. Horrible decisions and inability to adapt...Hell yeah.

Tommy got a lot of death threats after his OU game last year. Somehow I don't see Golson getting the same treatment. His ball control issues are as bad or worse than Tommy's was. The difference is Tommy wasn't the same kind of athlete and had a better handle on the game. Golson really seems to be struggling with pressure.

Next time I see him fumble, poor Maxx, the dog is getting kicked sqaure in the face. Well, maybe not...BUT STOP PUTTING THE ROCK ON THE GROUND, Everett. Maxx would appreciate that, along with many ND fans.

Fumble, fumble, fumble...I can live with the pick, every now and then...even the pick six.

Keep the ball off the ground.

he just needs to enjoy and get the most out of his college career that he possibly can, b/c he is in no way imo an NFL QB.

could you imagine a QB in the league that has as much trouble with turnovers and ball security as EG does? Yikes

Well. Let's see what he's made of.

Keep the ball off the ground.

The last pick wasn't on him, but he's throwing more than a pick every now and then. He's fumbling way too much, throwing picks every game and getting passes batted down regularly. I love the kids heart and effort, but I'm not sure he's the guy to lead us. Not saying put Malik in, but EG should not be having these issues at this point in the season.

Me thinks, Golson could have ironed this out during last season.

This is really just his second season starting guys.

A year hiatus, with which would have fine tuned him greatly.
