Our relationship transcends such mundane labels, Rack.

My handle isn't my name, but it does actually mean something. It may not mean something interesting or noteworthy, but I didn't just choose letters at random. In fact, there is a whole thread here somewhere where people explain their handles. There is something interesting to me about someone picking an actual name as a handle (as opposed to something that clearly isn't a name, like yours and mine and just about everyone else's). I figure it has to be for some reason.

My contribution to the board :)

Imani Zaire ----> jojoblack

Makes as much sense as

Shawn Carter ----> Jay-Z

I wonder who the Jazz-O is?

His dad is actually a pretty good guy. Since players and potentially their parents read these forums wouldn't it be best to just drop the "will the real jojoblack please stand up" conversation and just let it go? Can't really help things especially with Malik recently not being named the starter..... And he has not posted recently so I don't see the point in bringing this up....

So Rack Em and Whiskeyjack had a kid together? Named Malik?

In all seriousness though, I honestly have to admit I am sorta jealous of jojoblack. Dude has/had the best user name on IE. If I could start over on IE, I'd begin with jojoblack as my username.

Imani and Malik are both members of this pages Facebook extension group.

Not that either post...but Malik himself is certainly aware of this pages existence.

Nope not his father but I do know him

Not the father, but had a hand in "making" him...hmmm

Also, welcome back. Hopefully we get to see Malik ball out this year. I have a good feeling he'll get a chance to play some meaningful snaps 'cause Golson is likely going to get banged up again for a few games like he did in 2012.

Yeah...Malik is ready to go now. Even though Tommy gave us fits it was terrifying to think of his back up last year. This year I have no such feeling of dread.

I was completely surprised when Whiskey said Malik's dad. I am still guessing Malik's uncle.

Why doesn't someone just check his IP and see where he's posting from. Could answer a few questions..

Seriously. Our QB situation is better than it's ever been under Kelly. We've got two guys capable of running the entire offense without having to play Peyton Manning and change the play if they don't like what they see because they are too slow to scramble. It's exciting.

This indicates that jojo may have been Malik's mom's OB/GYN.

You mean to tell me that Nate Montana's 36.9 QBR against sCUM didn't do it for you? Good lord, what will make you happy then?

Even if Golson doesn't leave after this year (and he likely won't), Malik will be the starter for 2 years before he runs out of eligibility.

Its very exciting.

Golson is going to have a great year and declare for the draft.

Will he sit the next 2 years here to play 2 years? If Golson doesn't get hurt.
It's a pretty normal thing for a quarterback not to start until his redshirt junior season. Only at Notre Dame is this seen as an end-of-the-world sure sign of transfer.

Definitely possible, but not likely.

A far more likely scenario for Malik to be the guy next year is Golson going down with a minor injury for a few weeks and not having a job to come back to.

Would of liked to see him get some game throws in but he looked great running the option!

Loved seeing Zaire with the ball. Golson was great in the game today, but he still seems like he wants to take off if his first option isn't open. I don't like him running so often with the ball, he's providing more opportunities to get banged up. I'd like to see Golson stay back and go through progressions a bit more, Zaire seems better in that aspect of his game (Mostly based on Spring game of course).
