I don't agree with that. I think Chicago is the best place for him to land, even over those teams. Green Bay, New Orleans and New England are more the product of a great QB than a great system. Chicago is definitely the marque system, which can make good QB's better.

I really don't know about GB and NO, but NE won 11 games the year Brady was out. Can't remember his name, but that same backup QB then went to KC and didn't do so well.

He will most likely be the backup.

Cutler gets hurt all if the time.

His team is boss and probably win on the short term with any QB that doesn't turn the ball over and has a heart beat.

After tonight, he definitely is in line to be Cutler's backup. Jordan Palmer looked god awful. But, I agree with you. He likely won't be a storyline like McCown was last year.

I'm not a Bears fan, but I think just about any QB can be successful in Trestman's offense. Also feel this way about the Pats, Packers, and Saints. Guy seems like an offensive genius. If Cutler gets hurt, any backup will put up good numbers with Marshall, Jeffrey, and Forte.
