Haha nice "scoop" then by Lorenz on the Michigan 24/7 board this morning.

Derp.

He's becoming one of my least favorite in the business. It really started around the Crawford visit fiasco and downhill quickly ever since.

How Lorenz conducts all of his "reporting":

Anna posted an update on Bilal tonight.

A decision this summer is possible, but he won't be rushing a commitment. If he does take OVs, it will probably just be to ND and UM. He talks to Elston every week.

Anna thinks that ND leads but says UM is a "split hair" behind. He likes the playing time situation at ND, the clear plan the staff has given him for football and academics, and is intrigued by a ND degree.

He also doesn't seem to be a fan of the recruiting process

Well, since it looks like he and Coney are trending away, who would be next on the staff's board?

Wiltfong? Is he the same guy that locked Ofodile to South Bend?

As much as I like Bilal, my Indiana guy tells me that Barajas is > Bilal and Kirkland combined.

This sucks. Hopefully we can win him over before signing day. Thank goodness Barajas is on board! Anxious to see where we go from here.

Any idea why the cb was changed to UM? Is there any reason other than the cb flip to feel like it is all over?

This one stings! Thought we should have wrapped him up along time ago. Interesting to see where they go from here with what appears like Bilal going to Scum and Coney to Gators. I for one didn't see this one happening, never really believed the Coney hype to ND but always thought we were going to get Bilal.

Barajas committed to Penn state, so if he does commit to SCUM it's not over till he signs on the dotted lines.

I understand what your saying with this but Bilal situation is different. Barajas visited Penn State once and got blown away and made an impulsive decision in which he eventually thought things over and retracted from. Bilal has been to Michigan and ND numerous times and has visited both with his mom which tells me that he has been a little more thorough and really thinking about his decision so if he chooses Michigan then I expect him to stay with them unless they are absolutely horrible this year and the coaching staff loses their job. There is no other way to look at this, July has been pretty bad for us and this is a total kick in the sack.

Did he end up going to the BBQ after all? If so, this isn't all that surprising. That event is ridiculously well executed.

I don't think he went, haven't seen anything reported that he has. I think Steve just reached out to his people and heard Michigan was trending......
