Would like to know what the second decimal is..
If it's 4.80 that's incredible.
If it's 4.80 that's incredible.
Hope he goes in the first if he decides to go.

Bears won't trade up, down maybe to get more picks. I like Steelhead's list and I expect they will stick with #14 and take the best DL available.
I would rather they trade back to 18-22 or so. They would still probably get a stud DL and maybe a extra 2nd or 3rd round pick to fill out the secondary.
Stephen Truitt, Notre Dame, 6-5, 304, 5.00
“Lazy,’’ the personnel man said. “He’s an underachiever. I would just say no.’’
“I think he’s better as a 3-4 end, than a 4-3 tackle,’’ the AFC executive said. “He has the size and build for it. But there were games where he just didn’t do anything.’’
“He gained some weight during the season and lost some speed and quickness,’’ the scout said. “He looked a lot better in his workouts.’’
Man... with all due respect to that article...
You know what? Fuck respect. Stephon Tuitt's name is spelled Stephen Truitt in that article. What Grade A editing and journalism.
Wouldn't be surprised if all those quotes were fabricated. If not, that personnel man is the dumbest person on the face of this planet. Says this is the worst DL group he "has seen in a long time"... when this class is clearly MILES ahead of last year's. So if by "long time" he means "one calendar year" then... yeah...
Also, apparently every single defensive lineman is "lazy"... how many times was that word used in that article?
I'm not saying Tuitt should be a first rounder or even defending him... I'm just sick of these anonymous sources knocking every. single. prospect. It's become white noise with how there is a "red flag" for every prospect.
Even half decent research would tell you that if there's a knock on Tuitt above all else it's that he seems to be injury prone. He had one healthy half a season in 2012 and dominated. After that? Injury, injury, injury....
Go watch the USC film and tell me he's "lazy." You know what's actually lazy? This writer and his "sources."
You are spot on Lax. That article just ripped every single D-line prospect in this draft. Pure journalistic garbage.Man... with all due respect to that article...

I would compare his game more to Richard Seymore than Kevin Carter.
Keep seeing random mocks that don't have him going till the 3rd round....hope not for his sake
It's pretty much a consensus that he is a top 15 pick based solely on talent. But a 2nd/3rd round pick based on injuries and inconsistency.I think he's one of those guys with a very large draft range... first rounder on 2012 film, but then has been plagued by injuries and was mediocre in 2013. If you draft on upside he's a high pick, if you draft on security he's a mid-round selection.
I definitely think Niklas should've come back, and more and more I think Tuitt may have been better served by another year as well. Really interested to see where he gets taken.
There us no way he falls to the 3rd round in my opinion. He didnt totally fall off the map and the injury isnt something to be worried about long term. I could see him def sneaking into the first round. A lot of teams have good Dlines, but he truly is a unique player. He can play inside or outside...thats fairly uncommon in the NFL at the level Tuitt can play at
He did have a pro day.i think it a possibility. no real combine or pro day. only private workouts. i think without total involvement in all those things, there will be questions. but, i agree he doesn't get out of the 2nd round. but there is always possibility.
He did have a pro day.
And a pretty good one at that. Didn't he run a 4.8 at 300+ lbs.
