I don't. That seems to me like conceding the moral high ground. It makes it tricky to be outraged the next time they picket a funeral. Further, it gives validation to his church. My thinking with them is ignoring them is the best policy. I know I'm probably in the minority on this.

I have the same initial reaction, but I do not know how I would feel if they picketed at a funeral of one of my family members.

I don't think simply ignoring him is going to bring any justice to the thousands of mothers that watched his people hold up "God hates fags" signs at their funerals or give peace to a father whose son is sent to the grave with screams of "Soldiers go to Hell" instead of the honoring of their service to our country.

This isn't just some "bad dude" that we are talking about. This guy was the center of some of the most dispicable behavior I have every seen.

I think everyone should agree on sending one single person to picket. There sign should read "Our condolences, please find peace in this day of mourning." Show how ridiculous it is for them to picket on the most difficult day of most peoples lives.

This man was one of the most hateful and idiotic people on the face of the earth. While I never like to cheer anyone's death, he will certainly have to pay for his actions in the afterlife. That there is the right thing to say, however, I'm human and subject to those frailties, emotional outbursts, as well as some other not such good stuff.

I understand. Words are my weapon of choice. He and his minions showed their ugly mugs at a "demonstration" about 20 or 30 miles from my house a few years ago. I would have been hoarse from yelling had I gone. At 5'6" and 135 lbs. I'd be no real physical threat.

Give me a call, if need be, and I'll gladly post your bail.
