OK Bros how should I set myself up. I just randomly placed stuff just to manufacture money and elixir but now I want to get serious about defense.

• What should be behind walls
• How should walls be structured
• What can I leave outside the walls and isn't mission critical
• What else?

-At low levels, but only defenses behind walls.
-Segment them such that defenders have to crack multiple rectangles of walls to kill your defenses, not just crack your walls in one spot and they have access to everything.
-The only things that need to truly be protected are defenses and resources. Everything else there is no issue with it being destroyed, you don't lose anything.
-SAVE ALL OF YOUR GEMS FOR BUILDER HUTS.

To add to what Lax said, point attack defense, IE cannons and archer towers should be around the perimeter to pick of single targets like wall breakers. Splash damage defensive units like wizard towers and mortars should be better defended. They also work well close together, because of the limited range of Zard towers and the greater range (but halo) of mortars.

Good idea to place non vital structures in a perimeter around walls to make the spawn area as far away as possible. That gives your defense more time to work.

Oh and traps, like a spring board traps, wreck giants. Don't be afraid to leave a section of wall open to siphon troops where you want them.

I know we got some Clash of Clans players in here, including myself, but I'm just curious if any of you have heard of Boom Beach. It's the new Clash of Clans that hasn't been released in the US yet (only in Canada) and it's supposedly going to be bigger and better than CoC. If any of you that live in America or any other country are interested in playing it tonight just comment below and I'll show you how to get it tonight. You don't have to illegally download anything. It's all through iTunes.

Go to youtube on your computer >type in "how to get boom beech in america">filter to upload date>click on first video (the one with an unpubertized kid talking) > skip to the first minute and follow his instructions.

It literally takes 5-10mins to do. I'm already addicted and I've been playing for an hour.

I've been playing Clash of Clans and a knock off, Castle Clash, for awhile now. imo, Castle Clash is better. The interface and game play is almost identical, but Castle Clash has a few added bonuses. For one, Castle Clash allows you to recruit and train up to 5 heroes, and theres roughly 30 different hero types to choose from with varying strengths/weaknesses. Theres also an Arena where you can pit your heroes against another player's so you can move up a ladder and make your heroes stronger. Along with allowing you to attack other players and goblin towns like in Clash of Clans, Castle Clash has another mode where you can defend against 5 waves of NPC's that attack your town. Oh, and any troops that you recruit to fight for you will not only be available when you go out and attack, but they will be available on defense when you're attacked as well (Plus if they die while on defense they automatically regenerate at no cost).

Even though my Castle Clash town is higher level than Clash of Clans, I get attacked far less often in Castle Clash than I ever have in Clash of Clans. I'm not stupid about it either, I check strategies online and I only level up my Town Hall when everything else is maxed out. Clash of Clans kind of sucks because you can end up getting attacked by a guy several levels above you with an army twice the size of yours. That never really happens in Castle Clash.

Clash is prob the first thing I have used other than acamp1900 for just about anything gaming...

I just couldn't resist adding "DaBruce" to it.. though i should have gone with acampDaBruce... 20/20 vision at this point.

K, I'd like feedback on the new setup... I'm not segmenting the whole base, think it looks dumb, but I think I might be good with two walls, I bunch of needless shiz in between to draw attention, and one somewhat hidden gap to lure them Into the second wall... All while I drop bombs from all sides...

Thoughts?
