Barton Simmons, nice hair, my Lord. Try a better angle on the Skype camera as well. Talk about low rent operation, terrible.

Just a 5 minute reminder of what we got here.....Absolute Freak!

Will be playing a lot of football week1

Wow! This "five minute reminder" really puts it together. Speed, athleticism, major nasty attitude, and endurance. So much so that I can't remember the last time I saw a high school stand out in the defensive front seven, actually run the ball and play a detached tight end position with such long routes? When is the last time you saw a lineman take it to the house on a kick return? Oh-my! And he plays the spear point on the kick off team. Starting to sound like a couple of kids like this in the fold!

He's really pushing Okwara for the starting spot. Williams is the pass rushing guy but Trumbetti is pushing for every down WDE just behind Romeo. Hopefully Romeo can hold him off as that would prove to create more depth but Trumbetti is a beast and the fact rivals never took him off 3 star was one of the worst rankings I've ever seen. And thats not an exaggeration. High quality talent here with a great motor.

Everyones worried about who are future DE's will be I'm not at all, with Andrew, Bonner, and Williams, Hays as a DE/Dt, Blakenship, we will be just fine they most likely all will get some valuable experience this year to help them next year, I think we still need one true DE guy in this years class though all 5 of these guys should have solid careers for ND, wouldn't surprise me one bit if 2-3 of them exceed expectations for their careers.

I know it's been mentioned on here before, but he reminds me so much of all of those Stanford clones that abuse people. Very glad to have our own. I think Andrew is the one that will help me finally get over Leuders.

So has it been confirmed that Ishaq is still a one-dimensional WDE, and won't be seeing time at SDE? Happy to hear Trumbetti is coming on strong, but Ishaq being "the pass rushing guy" is disconcerting. Does that mean Rochell is our #1 SDE then?

This x10

There is so much talent here you have to be more worried about transfers than you do performance. They all can't stay at DE and they need to separate them into different classes.

Sorry, Jhonny Williams. Ishaq seems penciled in at this point for SDE. Trumbetti seems to be pushing Okwara at WDE with Jhonny pushing any and all for time as a pass rusher.

99% sure he's talking about Jhonny Williams, not Ishaq.

Ishaq is the starter at SDE now, I don't think he's even seriously being considered for WDE.

No over at ISD, they say that Williams is the Strong side. Romeo is Weak, with Trumbetti as the backup. Rochell is the backup for Strong.

That's what I've read anyways.

Any chance CBK would use Trumbetti in a Fridge package on the goal line?

I dub thee... Andrew "the Bus" TrumBETTIS

People forget how big of a pickup Trumbetti was. He was ranked on a similar level as guys like Tuitt, Day and Rochelle. High 4 star guy, ranking in the top 15 at his position by every service (sans stupid Rivals). Had a great offer list too. Just kinda under the radar with his recruitment. I expect him to one of the next great defensive lineman on the team.

I was thinking the same thing.

Can you imagine how jacked the crowd would get when they saw TrumBETTIS running out with the ball on the 1??? Like OU did when they sent in the Bulldozer.

Next question is... are there any number regulations on who can line up at RB? Gardner wore the same 98 at QB for they whose name may not be spoken... ???

As a Bear fan, I lived through Fridge mania and every time the ball was on the goal line... fans went NUTS hoping he would get the call. Really like nothing I have ever witnessed in sports.

Would be a great gimmick CBK!
