Will you be sober enough to drive after the game or do you need to be in cab range? There are some good hotels and Bed and Breakfasts in the Elkhart area.

Yeah, I'll be able to drive. I'm drinking before the game, but the game's so long not to mention getting out of the stadium, so I'll be fine.

If anyone wants to pregame/tailgate, I'm all for it. My younger brother can either drink/not drink, I will take care of him. He's a good kid and won't get out of hand.

I found one hotel within 20 miles that's only $105 per night. If I don't find better by the end of the week, I'm booking that for both nights.

If anyone wants to get rowdy, I'm all for joining a tail gate.

Also, if anyone else wanted to go as a group and get a section, I'd be down for getting a small section together. My brother and I will be loud FYI. Stubhub has that new feature where you can get group tickets and everyone can pay towards the total price from their home. Pretty sweet sounds like.

FYI - I'm really only looking at sections near the students. 35/36/135/136 ish.

I know I'm not well received on here, but honestly, I'm probably one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet who still has an opinion on everything and sense of humor, FWIW.

I did check that area out and it's a solid option, but I'd only be saving ~ $20 per night from what I found... So I think I'm going to go with the place for $105 a night that's within 20 minutes of ND.

Thanks for the heads up though. This is going to be a pricey trip!

Edit: If someone's really looking to save, there's a hotel I found in plymouth for $35 per night. And don't worry, I'll sell off your tickets in case you die there!

If Michigan is going to have a good game all season, it's going to be this one. We'll have to bring our A game. I expect it to be close, but I'd be so happy if we blow them out of the water in this final meeting.

Plymouth has a nice little restaurant that I typically go to after a game with gramps.

if we lose this game it will pretty well ruin our season unless its our only loss with a big bowl win and even still the fact that Michigan fans will spend the rest of their lives happy will ruin that bowl win.

Hypothetical: if you could cut a check right now to guarantee a win in this game, how much would you spend?

$7,000.

This is how much I estimate I will get from my wedding night guests, which is on this day, in Ann Arbor.

Kill me.

No money.

I just wanna see this team show up and beat them without any excuses or a bunch of the typical bullshit or drama associated with this game. Shut up and win for Christ's sake ND......

*with that said, $50,000

You're too nice implying its a quick death. Marriage is death by firing squad, and the wounds slowly bleed you out over decades.

It all depends on if Everett doesn't let us down, friends. If he finally has got it, then Coach finally has a QB --- just think of what Kelly's done without a naturally physically-gifted one all these four years.

If Everett is good, then all we need is for Harry to get someone to add to what are essentially four OLine returning starters, and one could honestly say that NDs offense is loaded at all positions [even provenly so]. We should score like crazed ninjas.

Coach van Gorder will need a little time to gel the defense, but with Kelly finally empowered at THE position, he'll have 35-40 points to work with. PRAY, people, PRAY that Jarrett Grace is back. He's the Leader-to-be, and Diaco had trouble developing leadership [if it wasn't already in place], so we lack.

It is my opinion that it is more difficult for leadership to arise when playing in a Clock. Coach VG seems to be very disciplined but not a Clockmaker.

I have high if guarded hopes.

Still debating. I'll let you know if I do.

I'll be there.

Awesome, I'll talk to you as it gets closer and meet you for a beer, assuming I can get my 20 year old brother in, haha.

Are underagers allowed in bars if they're not drinking in South Bend? Where I'm from, it basically depends on if the bar serves food or not.

If I can get tickets for a reasonable price I'm definitely in. Still rebuilding my sports budget after blowing my wad in 2012 with the Shamrock Series and NCG.

I feel you. I went to that NCG, the MSU away game, and the Michigan home game that year. Didn't go to any games last year except the bowl. So I definitely need to make it back to campus ASAP.

Haha, understandable. I'll reach out to you in July when I order mine and see where you're at.

Just looked, cheap seats are around $350.

of course the prices will drop when Rice and Appalachian State win in week one

That's going to drop quite a bit though. Right now they're not open to the public, so when you see that $350, that's someone with season tickets looking to sell their ticket for that price. It opens to public in July and then it goes down. At least that's how I understand it.

If they're just as high in July ill wait til late August and pray for a deal.

If you have balls of steel (like me), the best bet is to just show up, get drunk, and buy them a few minutes after kickoff. I've had luck doing that, but have also struck out. Either way, I'm drunk, so it's already a win.
