The Huskies went 7-6 this year. If it weren't for Tosh Lupoi, I wouldn't even give it a 2nd thought.

Haha I guess the one negative to being in the 'ship is that while other coaches can get in on the post-dead period feeding frenzy ours are actually busy still coaching football......

I know tosh is a great recruiter but this year there team went backwards. It was largely believed to be a poor coaching job. If it was a kid on the west coast and close to home , well that's one thing but with Bryant they can waist all the tome they want l

@Jake_Brown: Nope. RT @adamgorney: Just saw #Washington talking to #NotreDame commit Greg Bryant. Anything to this @Jake_Brown ?

Apparently UW has a damn bus parked outside the hotel and I guess they are talking to anyone that will stop and listen.

lmao, we have nothing to worry about here gents. I'm sure of it. Sleep well tonight.

Deontay Greenberry to Houston on signing day was much more shocking then what this would be.

Completely untrue. DG had a connection with the receivers coach there. Bryant would be a MUCH bigger surprise IMO due to the complete randomness.

I beg to differ. DG's "connection" with the WR coach was just a recruiting relationship. His switch was truly an upset, upsetting, and baffling. At least Washington is a major program in an AQ conference. Houston plays garbage competition and is garbage in itself, especially when one considers this season, future seasons, and many of its past seasons.

In recruiting, anything can happen. A Bryant switch would not be a bigger surprise than Deontay Greenberry's.

I don't agree. Greenberry had been sending mixed messages and visiting every school with a football program in the weeks prior to signing day. If IF Bryant were to do the same thing (schedule visits to schools between now and NSD) then I would not be any more shocked at him flipping than Greenberry. Greenberry's defection was upsetting, but he was always an oddball and insisted on visiting other schools right into the last weeks. One shouldn't be too shocked if kids taking visits to other schools on Jan. 30th flip.

We are not talking about ALLGATOR in this thread.

I didn't find a problem with your post, ALLGATOR, but it was deleted to prevent further controversy.

Has anyone heard anything recently on the status of Wood to the NFL...it's been quiet with the build up to the NCG. It will have the biggest impact on when Bryant sees the field IMO.

I mean the guy was repping us hard before he flipped and all of the sudden he flips to Houston? Having offers from USC and Notre Dame, he chose to go to Houston. Not only a huge downgrade in education, but competition. At least Washington is a viable school. They have a great recruiter and are in an okay but stable conference. Compared to Houston who at this point had lost their head coach, was in between conferences and had no stability whatsoever, I found that extremely shocking.

My comment was relevant the Bryant discussion.

In fact, it was a direct reply to "doubt it" posted above.

I call bullsh!t.

Yeah I call BS as well. Auburn was after him hard, for one.

What you're saying is exactly true. There should be no shock that kids taking visits up to signing day can switch at anytime. However, what I'm trying to say is that usually that switch is to a top program of at least equal status to ND or other elite programs. If it was USC, Oregon, Alabama, etc., then okay I can see how he may have been seduced to go elsewhere. Houston? C'mon man. That's surprising.

Múisc.

But if you want to say throw up, it would be "caith suas".

How's that for some sauce?

For example

Jimmy went in the bathroom to throw up. Jimmy (James/Seamus) chuaigh sa seomra folctha le caith suas.

awesome, reps.

What happened to the "Posts exiled from recruits' threads thread?" I see more holes here than the slice of Swiss cheese in my corned beef sandwich.

Out of curiosity, are you aware of when you "earn" an infraction? And do they expire?

Some infractions do, some don't. Depends on the mod when they give the infraction. And when you get one, you know it. You receive a PM notifying you of the infraction and the reason with a note from the mod.
