It's a bit strange to see a reference to Etta James on a "football" board. She's one of my favorites. I had the extreme pleasure of seeing her perform many, many times at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. I miss her.

If you want a solid "FU" song check out any version of "Bugger Off," a classic closing time song at any bar featuring Irish music.

Doing nothing in terms of "eff you" songs, etc. would have a more profound effect IMO. ND should have made it a typical day game, went out and pulled off a win, and then immediately start talking about Purdue the next week.

After the game:

Reporter: Coach, was your team extra motivated after what happened last year?

BK: We are always motivated, that's how we win games.

Reporter: How does it feel to win the last game against Michigan?

BK: Good, just like every other time we win.

Reporter: What went through your head at the end of the game?

BK: One week until our next game.

*That would drive me nuts if I was a scUM fan

Would that be what's referred to as a "drop the mic" moment, hard head?

Forgive me if I know not of what I speak.

I'm an old fart, after all.

So happy that Gallon is gone. His performance against us last year still gives me nightmares.

This should be interesting. Wonder how it plays out.

I'd rather face Morris. But beating Gardner would feel great, so I guess I don't care either way. I despise playing against mobile QBs though, regardless of how bad they are at throwing.

True. He likely will run and throw the best game of his career against us. Per usual.

I'm a firm believer in letting your play on the field dictate your statement. Worked well against MSU in '06 as they sat at midfield guarding their 50 yard line like idiots...but if I had to pick a song to play in the stadium after the game as retribution for the ridiculously stupid chicken dance song last year...

Notre Dame - Damsha Bua (Victory Clog) - YouTube

Oh wait...we're going to play that anyway

I'm hoping for the sound guy to play a Fred Flinstone "Yabba Dabba Doo!" over the speakers after every Michigan miscue.

If only we had a Jumbotron we could play this video over and over: <iframe width="640" height="390" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/cPxPSzz0LBY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I've always enjoyed that one, this one is pretty good too:

We could always play a Hoke original number after the game. He's pretty mean on the tuba:

Michigans September Heisman usually is vaulted to the top by a lights out performance against us.

I need tickets for this game

Ticket prices are bonkers right now. Wait until July when they're open to the public, that's what I'm going to do.

Cannot wait for this game. I'm taking my 20 year old brother who's an Irish fan, and he's never been to a CFB game.

For Friday, we're going to the pep rally, but nothing else planned. Are there any other must see/do events for Friday/Friday night? I'm excited to see if there's a guest speaker for the pep rally. I'm praying it's Holtz.

Sorry for the bump.

Good Lord.

I'm buying for me and my younger brother for this game, and have been watching for tickets on stubhub.

A couple of weeks ago the cheapest tickets jumped from $350 to $370 and I got a bit concerned.

Checked in today and they're at $490 for the cheapest ticket.

Starting to get really worried that I should have bought a couple of weeks ago...

Wait until the ticket office starts selling the tickets in August; you'll get two tickets for about $85 a piece. Just have you're phone ready to call right when the ticket office opens because they'll be gone very fast

Thanks for the advice. I don't think they'll be $85, but if I pay $200 for each ticket I'll be estatic. I've never gone through the ticket office though.

Just really concerning that it jumped $120 in less than two weeks.
