This program has come a long way from where it was 10 years ago in terms of talent and depth... major credit to the staff... still a ways to go though.

Translation: Bob Diaco had very specific physical profiles he was looking for, and when he missed we were left holding the bag with no contingency plans. And now we have depth issues. We're not doing that anymore.

I like BK discussing building up a recruiting office at ND. I think that's a good idea, because then they can identify and grade more guys earlier and really work on building and selling the "NOTRE DAME MESSAGE." They can do more than just send out a load of mail to a recruit to show what ND is.
